Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Work with our IT department to design and maintain network infrastructure to connect our operations environment with IT systems. The focus will be high availability and reliability.

  • Manage data collected by production machinery and synchronize it with IT servers to allow data analysis and real time monitoring

  • Conduct in-depth data analytics, offering real-time feedback and actionable insights to optimize production processes and improve decision-making.

  • Connect all production machines to our MES system through MQTT ensuring efficient data flow and system interoperability

  • Implement AI solutions on production machinery to provide correction loops and to perform predictive maintenance

  • Maintain IT systems within production, including upgrading systems and backups

  • Support and program autonomous vehicles operating in the factory

  • Manage systems that allow remote access to our machines in case emergency support is needed

Our requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in HES field of studies or another related field

  • Hands-on experience with programing machinery, networking and data analysis

  • Understanding of operational technology in modern manufacturing environments

  • Experience of 5 to 10 years in similar positions in a manufacturing environment

  • Extensive experience with various programming languages (Python, SQL, LabVIEW, PLCs, C#, e.g.)

  • Good knowledge of data processing and analytics

  • Excellent English skills with good knowledge of either German or French

  • Willingness to occasionally travel across Europe

We’re looking for ato design, develop, and optimize automation and test systems that power our production lines. In this role, you’ll combine your programming expertise with hands-on engineering to build smarter, faster, and more reliable systems.


Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Contribute to our ambitious goal of fully automating our factory, and help pave the way for the future of manufacturing innovation

  • Design, develop, and improve programs for advanced automation and testing systems with a focus on performance and reliability

  • Write, modify and optimize software for Beckhoff PLCs and LabVIEW testing stations

  • Perform in depth data analysis using SQL, Grafana and PowerBI

  • Create electrical and pneumatic layout schematics and create material lists in accordance with stock, delivery times and internal standards

  • Ensure documentation is current and accessible, including user manuals and error-handling protocols, to facilitate smooth operation and knowledge transfer

  • Conduct training sessions to equip operators, shift leaders and maintenance technicians with the skills to efficiently operate and manage machinery

  • Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and continuous improvement, contributing to a leaner, more cost-effective production environment

Our requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in HES/EPF or in another related field

  • Ideally 5 to 10 years of experience with automated assembly and manufacturing machines for high volume production

  • Knowledge and experience in working with different software packages (e.g. PLCs, LabVIEW, Python)

  • In depth knowledge of electrical and control technology as well as basic knowledge of quality control processes

  • Fluent in English and good knowledge of either French or German

  • Capable of working as a part of the team as well as working independently

  • Flexible for occasional travel

  • Advance our level of automation by installing and configuring cameras and other vision equipment for real-time process monitoring and inspection

  • Utilize vision systems to ensure machines are operating efficiently, processes are stable and product flow through the factory is optimized

  • Develop and implement innovative applications using machine learning and artificial intelligence, enhancing our in-house technological capabilities

  • Analyze system data to provide insights and recommendations for improving product quality and operational efficiency

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and operations, to align vision system goals with broader organizational objectives

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal impact on production and maximum uptime

Our requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or another related field

  • In depth knowledge of programming software

  • Understanding of lenses, vision sensors, exposure, resolution, focal length would be a plus

  • Experience of ideally more than 2 years of working with vision systems in a modern automated manufacturing environment

  • Experience with PLCs and test software programing would be an advantage

  • Knowledge of quality control processes

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop innovative concepts for building technical systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitation, and electrical automation

  • Conduct precise measurements and calculations to design efficient distribution networks for new structures

  • Draft tenders to engage capable contractors for construction projects

  • Supervise the entire construction and installation processes both on-site and in workshops

  • Oversee the functionality of installed systems, commissioning them for use, and optimizing existing installations

  • Ensure maintenance is conducted as per supplier specifications and handle any building system malfunctions in collaboration with suppliers

  • Uphold 6S implementation within the facility and adhering to SUVA safety regulations

  • Manage scheduled maintenance with suppliers for cranes and lifting equipment

  • Resolve building related breakdowns and find appropriate solutions with suppliers

  • Monitor and manage the annual maintenance budget effectively
