Position: Assistant Engineer - I, Maintenance

Experience: 5 - 10 years

Workingdays: 6 days working in shifts rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the production equipment is available for full production.
• Troubleshooting knowledge in Electrical and Electronic circuits, Sensors, VFD, PLC, HMI, Vision system.
• Diagnoses and resolves equipment malfunctions, performs repairs.
• Daily down time analysis for root cause identification by Why- Why and TPM tools.

Requirements:

• Qualification:

Diploma or BE in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics, relevant experience at
Semi / Fully automated assembly lines in Auto component Industries, preferably in motor manufacturing Industry.

• Skills:
• Good Knowledge in PLC, HMI, VFD, Vision System, Jig and Fixtures
• Strong ability to work under pressure, flexible, reliable, team player
• Effective communication and good analysis skills
• Good trouble shooting knowledge in Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Circuits

Production Execution and Monitoring

• Operate and monitor mechanical and CNC machines for shaft manufacturing.

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC turning, milling, and surface grinding machines.

• Ensure parts are manufactured to precise dimensional and surface finish requirements.

• Monitor daily production output and ensure adherence to schedules.

Machining & Grinding Expertise

• Perform precision surface grinding and maintain tight tolerances.

• Ensure optimal machining parameters for productivity and quality.

• Identify and resolve machining issues to reduce scrap and downtime.

Tooling & Fixture Management:

• Set up tooling, jigs, and fixtures for various shaft machining processes.

1. Production Management:

• Operate and monitor melting furnaces for correct temperature, alloy composition, and pouring quality.

• Run and optimize high tonnage die casting machines for consistent cycle times and quality output.

• Manage de-gating operations for efficiency and minimal product damage.

2.Process & Equipment Expertise:

• Operate and troubleshoot robotic systems for part handling, spraying, and de-gating.

• Ensure tool lubrication systems are functioning effectively to improve die life and casting quality.

• Support die changeover and set up activities to reduce downtime.

3. Quality & Defect Control:

• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure adherence to product specifications.
