What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead a mechanical design team to deliver automation solutions on time, on budget and within project requirements.
Provide technical guidance to designers and co-ops.
Build and maintain the design team schedule to keep deliverables and milestones on time.
Collaborate with the Process Engineers and Project Managers to scope and price new projects.
Supervise and guide designer on the mechanical design of robot and assembly systems, production gauges and error proofs, assembly jigs, equipment automation.
Check and approve engineering drawings, bill of materials, calculations and statement of requirements.
Perform engineering calculations with respect to strength of materials, speeds, horsepower, temperature, pressure, force, etc. as related to project designs.
Review designs and systems for compliance to applicable standards (ex. Machine safety, AGC and/or customer specific)
Review electrical requirements with respect to input and output devises with electrical designers.
Review machine operations and machine sequences to ensure it meet project requirements.
Check drawings for accuracy, material selection, proper machining techniques, finishes, hardness, etc.
Assist the manufacturing team by being a channel of communication between technicians and design engineers
Communicate with customers and in-house technical and engineering staff as well as with vendors for technical information and specifications.
Responsible for initiate Engineering Change Notice – ECN’s and ensure non-conformance tickets are addressed
Responsible for communicating time estimates, resource requirements, and progress on design tasks to Engineering Manager and to the Project Manager.
Ensure designers keep documentation, including quotes, correspondence, requisitions, drawings, schedules, etc. organized on projects.
Will assist in developing design department standards.
Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other related duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
5+ years’ experience on designing custom Automation Systems
Experience with project management tools is considered an asset
Must be proficient in SolidWorks and PDM
Working knowledge of common machine shop techniques
Must demonstrate a strong ability to conceptualize and create concepts and solutions for complex design requirements, sometimes from sketches or verbal concepts.
A thorough knowledge of the use of pneumatic systems, also electrical devices (i.e. switches, load cells, LVDT’s, etc.) is essential
Able to lead designers and engineers
Must be capable of giving and taking direction.
Must be capable of working as part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization in a professional manner is essential.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation

What You’ll Be Doing:
Providing support during design, build, and commissioning of newly built automation equipment (assembly lines, robotic cells – material handling, test equipment, and similar).
Modification of existing production equipment.
Programming PLCs, HMIs, robots, vision and motion systems, safety controllers, etc.
Setting up control's networks (Ethernet/IP, Ethercat, etc.).
Modifications of existing and development of new Labview-based programs.
Working with Mechanical Designers, attending design reviews, and supporting mechanical design from the controls side.
Customer support during equipment commissioning.
Continuous improvements – improving existing methods, systems, and looking for better ways of approaching a problem.
Preparing technical documentation, user and maintenance manuals, setup procedures, etc.
Ensuring the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 policies, and any other industry standards in all activities.
Ensuring that all levels of safety are implemented into each automation change.
Completion of run-at-rate process performance testing in conjunction with manufacturing operations.
Specifying and sourcing materials and equipment to best suit requirements.
Traveling between JE locations both domestic and international.
Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives.
Performing other related duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in an automation/control's environment.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Omron NJ) and Robot programming (Fanuc).
Knowledge of Labview-based systems and ability to program them is a definite asset.
Understanding of SQL database and related software.
Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on IATF 16949/ISO9001 operating systems.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Excellent communication, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented.

What You’ll Be Doing:
EDI Administration : Maintain and support Epicor CMS EDI.
Project Coordination : Work with the offshore EDI team on projects and implementations.
Standards and Documentation : Develop and maintain ERP-EDI standards, policies, and documentation.
Systems Monitoring : Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-EDI system errors.
Support and Training : Provide support and training for ERP-EDI systems.

What We’re Looking For:
