As a, you will be working at a cutting-edge manufacturing plant in
Manassas, Virginia. You will be instrumental in expanding and optimizing facility operations to meet growing production needs. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, project coordinators, and construction trades. Your work will involve drafting as-built pipe and equipment layouts to record drawings, driving the operational excellence of the plant. Engaging in primarily hybrid work is a pivotal part of this role, where you’ll be tasked with assessing design packages and spearheading the implementation of field observations and field verifications from team members to current systems. You’ll leverage tools like AutoCAD for detailed 2D drawing, REVIT packages and Bluebeam software that bring our visions to life. As a Mechanical Designer, you will:

• Conduct regular site visits to verify existing field conditions and ensure the alignment of the design implementations process with the project's observational reports and specifications.

• Producdetailed flow diagrams for both gas-side and water-side systems (HVAC, Hydronics, and Fire Protection).

• Implement isometric views into design packages to assist in field installation and understanding.

• Providcustom installation details for the more complex portions of projects.

• Conduct punch-list walks on completed projects to ensure the final implementation adheres to the design intent.

• Participate in the updating and drafting of new and existing products for design change, cost reductions, warranty improvements, and manufacturability. Assist with evaluation of vendors.onduct field walks and field verifications during site trips.

• Provide drawing and drafting support for details, vendor submittals, and perform engineering drafting, drawing review, drawing control, and related services required in the design of engineered systems (i.e., tank and/or vessel design).

You'll help advance the industry by delivering sustainable solutions for clients and connect with Jacobs’ practitioners to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. You'll also mentor junior practitioners and learn from senior practitioners to grow professionally. We’ll look for your knowledge and experience in: Analysis as well as the development of design, plan preparation, specifications, and reports. Inspection may be required on occasion.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the following:

As the, you will work with a team of cybersecurity professionals that provide support across the Jacobs delivery lifecycle. From ensuring design compliance with standards to providing discrete cybersecurity assessments, you’ll identify risk and provide mitigation measures that protect our clients from the most dangerous forms of cyber-attacks. You will design cybersecurity offerings to be consistent with NIST, NERC CIP and other contemporary cybersecurity standards in ICS environments. You’ll understand the cybersecurity needs of large infrastructure programs and develop cybersecurity offerings to include 3rd party technologies that ensure that system and network data is visible and secure. In this role, you’ll work with both sales and operations teams to embed cybersecurity and risk reduction into new contract opportunities as well as active programs. You’ll work in close coordination with SCADA instrumentation and controls teams to design and integratewith contemporary security architectures. From design through the commissioning of large infrastructure, you’ll put your hands on experience withto work at Jacobs.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be part of a team of ICS cybersecurity engineers to evaluate, test, and remediate ICS/SCADA OT systems. You will identify vulnerabilities and propose workable solutions in close coordination with infrastructure program teams. You’ll participate in our cybersecurity assessment process including on-site visits to review facility cybersecurity posture and develop technical memorandums.

Key Responsibilities are as follows:

• Support cybersecurity design of OT networks through compliance with appropriate security standards
• Provide cybersecurity assessments of OT/ICS across Jacobs markets with analysis of current state, mitigation, and solution implementation
• Support OT integration of switching, servers, firewalls, virtual machines, and other technology with proper security standards
• Perform forensics analysis of OT devices to support cyber incident analysis
• Develop consultative OT security solutions which include services such as attack emulation, penetration testing, threat hunting, and deception operations
• Travel to project sites to provide support of ICS networks, manage and maintain converged platforms, virtualization, networks, security platforms and various other OT/IoT technologies
