HSE Design Engineer will be part of team working for major international clients in the Pharma markets, focused to provide technical solutions and deliver complex projects. The HSE Design Engineer is responsible, in collaboration with other Disciplines, for ensuring that all legal requirements, authority considerations and best engineering practices related to HSE are incorporated in all phases of a projects. He/She will play a key role within the team, giving instruction and checking the design in terms of safety and environmental issues.

Primary job responsibilities are:

• to provide a direct day-to-day support to the Project Team to define the approach for proper implementation and reviewing of all safety issues in the design of a project and to support the Team during follow up activities - to coordinate and perform Risk assessment reviews and HSE assessments during the design phase, primarily HAZID, HAZOP (knowledge of SIL analysis will be a plus) including follow up of related follow up of the corrective actions, considering both international applicable norms and standards and Client’s standards/procedures;
• to perform (or review) the Hazardous area classification according to ATEX Directive;
• to coordinate the design according to PED Directive requirements;
• to perform HSE training.

This position provides day-to-day management of facility services and activities within an office.

This position is responsible for facility operations, including upkeep, reception services, and office-related health, safety, security, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that office is provided with the equipment, supplies, and services necessary for daily operations.
• Partner with local office line of business leadership on office-related issues, and attend meetings as required.
• Manage office overhead budget and monitor the financial reports to ensure accuracy. Provide input to annual business planning as it relates to the local office. Ensure all required Real Estate Operations Finance reporting and reviews are completed. Timely communication on any significant variance to plan and necessary accruals or entries.
• Process invoices and charges related to local facility management, ensuring proper coding 4-anding to REO expenditure and capitalization guidelines. Generate purchase requests, approve invoices, or gather bids when needed for Facilities requirements or changes.
• Communicate with office staff regarding any facility -related issues or information, in line with any corporate or legal guidelines or direction.
• Serve as onsite contact for building management and local vendors or service providers as appropriate. Manage any landlord, maintenance, or janitorial issues. Respond to requests for service or repair.
• Manage reception, mail and courier services, and offsite archive storage, where applicable.
• Review and understand local office lease and its' terms and requirements (treat as a confidential document). Ensure all Real Estate related documents (including any landlord notices) are submitted to Lease Database Team.
• Support management of any sublease of local Jacobs office space.
• Utilization reporting.
• Assist in new starter induction (orientation) related to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements. Provide information on local office.
• Provide support for Human Resources where requested. Report terminated access status via JEEP tickets. May assist with collecting assets or paperwork for employee terminations.
• Accountable for the overall cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of the office.
• Support Health, Safety, and Environment with local office tasks including support for specific local plans. Assist with ergonomics requests, as needed.
• Provide support to IT for office-wide requests, as needed.
• Assist Global Security & Resilience, including ensuring the security of the physical office space in accordance with security guidelines; ID badge creation and recovery, access card and visitor management, communication regarding emergencies, etc. Support local office Business Continuity Plan.
• Support office sustainability tasks and reporting, ensuring the generation of the of Office Sustainability Pland (and Office Environmental Action Plan, if applicable).
• Manage local offsite archiving (retrieval and collection) and destruction. Provide guidance to project managers on best practices for handling filing needs.
• Serve as onsite lead for physical changes within local office, completing tasks as part of facility project team. Coordinate furniture moves, reconfigurations, or installations as needed in partnership with Workplace team.
• Upkeep of all Facilities data for the local office in alignment with global requirements, including floor plans, health and safety information, office utilization, vendor performance, responses to team inquiries, Track Record, Work Location pages, space booking tools, etc.
• In locations with more than one facility staff member, provide facility staff supervision. Participate in the hiring and training of new facilities staff, serve in both the interview and integration processes.
• In locations with only one facility staff member, manage tasks included in Facility Support job description.
• May also have building & grounds responsibilities (where there is no landlord provided property management).
• May support cross functional teams or projects, or small remote locations, as needed.

As a Senior Design Engineer - Highways, you will be responsible for carrying out the highway design and producing deliverables on assigned Jacobs’ roads, highways, and related civil infrastructure development project. You will be part of the engineering team to develop suitable engineering options and solutions on a different scale of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the preparation of feasibility studies, technical reports, detailed designs, and production of contract documents across a variety of projects.
• Help seek innovative solutions in achieving the best value in delivering our services.
• Help development of the team through the delivery of projects and commissions, providing technical and administrative support where required.

Within our Piping Department in the Italy office, we are looking for a Piping Material Engineer. Main responsibilities include:

• Develop / check Piping Material Specs, Valve Data Sheets, Piping SP list, Piping SP items (for chemical andpharmaceutical projects, both for hygienic and non-hygienic services);
• Create Enquiry Requisitions, conduct Technical Bid Evaluations and assemble Technical Requirements forPurchase Order Valve Packages;
• Prepare work instructions/procedures /guidelines;
• Check and perform code calculations according to EN 13480-3 and ASME B31.3.;
• Select materials and piping components and develop related data sheets according to project requirements;
• Provide assistance to BIM engineers with input sheets for the 3D Model catalogue creation and update;
• Coordinate the production of all deliverables in accordance with the Project schedule;
• Support piping designers on developing Material Take Off extracted from 3D models;
• Create Piping Scope of Work descriptions for tenders;
• Prepare bid packages and carry out technical bid tabulations / bid analysis of offers received fromcontractors/vendors;

Within our Piping Department in the Italy office, we are looking for a Senior Piping Coordinator. Main responsibilities include:

• Ensure completion of project within the MHRs budget, schedule & quality targets;
• Contribute to the development and growth of team members;
• Contribute to the continual improvement of productivity and quality;
• Prepare work instructions/procedures/guidelines;
• Ensure 3D design compliance with modelling conventions, e.g. correct use of identified tools, application of correct LODs and company best practices;
• Coordinate 3D design work activities with in-house staff as well as other external entities;
• Produce drawings/models or schedule extractions for submissions, if required;
• Resolve daily modeling and systems coordination issues;
• Represent the team/group in internal and external meetings, as needed;
• Participate in and/or lead 3D model reviews for piping systems;
• Possess deep knowledge of Piping layout, Pipe routing, Support design, Stress Analysis, MTO, Material requisitions, Bid evaluation and 3D design best practices in BIM systems;

Piping Designer.Main responsibilities include:

• Good understanding of engineering principles related to piping design, including fluid dynamics, stress analysis, material selection and code compliance (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.);
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing complex piping systems;
• Ability to interpret, work and develop engineering drawings, isometric drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and other technical documents;
• Familiarity with best practices in pipe design, support design, stress analysis, MTO control, and 3D model reviews;
• Capacity to define the routing of complex systems, taking into account accessibility, installation, and safety requirements;
• Ability to identify and resolve design issues, clashes, and conflicts between the piping systems and other systems (mainly HVAC, electrical, Fire Protection, etc.);
• Capacity of working collaboratively with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure proper integration with other disciplines and the successful completion of projects;
• Understanding of cost estimation and budgeting for piping projects;
• Ensure completion of activities assigned within schedule, with the proper quality and according to project requirements;
• Familiarity with piping systems fabrication and installation processes;
