Job Purpose

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and operational support of applications supporting the Exchange Trading Platform, End of Day RISK and Clearing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of applications supporting Trading, RISK and Clearing systems
  • Be able to lead an effort to design, architect and write new software components.
  • Be able to independently handle project activities related to builds and deployments.
  • Be able to create software tests, verify the functionality and quality of the software.
  • Create design documentation for new software development and subsequent versions.
  • Provide second-tier production support for 24/7 applications.
  • Provide support for deployments during maintenance windows.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise, in the dev, QA and production rollout cycles
  • Keep test environments up to date and in working order, creating environment-specific configurations and applications as necessary
  • Identify opportunities to improve and optimize applications.
  • Work with business analysts or product management in understanding new requirements.
  • Follow team guidelines for quality and consistency within the design and development phases of the application(s).
  • Follow company software development processes and standards.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Java design and development
  • 2+ years of experience with at least one JavaScript framework such as React or Angular
  • 5+ years of experience with open source frameworks like Spring
  • 5+ years of experience with Tomcat/SpringBoot/Vertx or equivalent application servers
  • Solid understanding of security concerns for web-based applications
  • Able to write and troubleshoot PL/SQL queries
  • Experience with writing comprehensive unit tests
  • Experience with SDLC Tools like GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, Maven, or equivalent tools
  • Experience building user-centric web applications with focus on usability, workflows, and performance
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of software testing, building high quality software, and experience with software testing tools, regression testing etc
  • Proven success working in a team environment

Job Purpose

The Market Analyst will be part of a Data Governance Operations team embedded within the settlement operations team, responsible for reviewing daily reports covering settlement exit criteria thresholds, price fidelity, and fixing reports. Within the review, the analyst will comment on qualifying the levels and remediate any issues found same day. Additional responsibilities will include being the 1line of contact for any Risk inquiries related to failures within the Risk Factor reports, tracking the threshold breaches and providing weekly reports to Management, and monitoring the criteria/suggesting reviews/changes to calibration levels with justification on recommendations.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing data to identify trends and relationships to reflect fair valuations across ICE asset markets including Energy, Interest Rates, Agriculture, Equity Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, FX, Physical Environmental.
  • Generate daily closing prices for cleared forward and option contracts.
  • Handle ongoing support and maintenance for existing ICE products.
  • Work directly with Sales, Development, QA and Operations.
  • Produce periodic reports, document and update internal procedures, and assist with special projects as required.
  • Provide front-line customer service support related to cleared product pricing.
  • Responsible for reviewing daily reports covering settlement exit criteria thresholds, price fidelity, and fixing reports.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant financial degree; combination of applicable training and/or experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of work experience in an analytical role
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel; Visual Basic or other analytical applications is preferred
  • Experience in working with large Excel spreadsheets
  • Exposure to commodity markets or financial trading environment background is preferred
  • Knowledge of future and option market structure and pricing
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be self-directed and be able to work within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Professional customer facing telephone manner

Job Purpose

As Product Development Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the reference data for ICE's energy, agriculture and financial derivatives markets and distributing that data across multiple systems to the trading and clearing platforms. You will be responsible for ongoing product maintenance as well as generating and executing deployment plans for new product launches, and you will serve as a subject matter expert and escalation contact for operations incident resolution.

Additionally, the Product Development Analyst will draft functional requirements for software enhancements to improve daily productivity of the team and serve as a stakeholder representing the configuration team on new derivatives market initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute workflow processes for reference data management
  • Work within team to validate change promotion in production environment and configure change sets in non-production environments
  • Investigate inbound data inquiries from external and internal stakeholders and escalate as needed
  • Extract and analyze product reference data using different tools (SQL, Excel, etc.)
  • Construct customized methods to update product reference data according to business needs
  • Work with the project team and stakeholders to configure, test and deploy new products
  • Assist project management with prioritizing, tracking, and improving the deployment of new product initiatives
  • Assist operations with incident resolution
  • Develop requirements and analysis artifacts including use-cases, activity diagrams, user-interface schematics, business rules, technical specifications, and process flow for ICE's derivatives reference data systems.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, CS, MIS or related discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • General interest in markets. 2+ years of experience with banking, trading, clearing, or related industry highly preferred
  • Basic PL/SQL knowledge preferred. Moderate or advanced skills a plus
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) - Strong Excel skills required, experience with VBA a plus
  • Ability to proactively identify, report, and attack risks to project delivery using principles of iterative management
