  • We are looking for a Sales Development Manager based in Australia to drive our OEM Consumption Revenue, Business Development engagement and Go To Market collaboration with leading Global PC Client and Datacenter OEMs, their customers and our joint partners.

  • The Sales Development Manager plays a key role orchestrating resources between Country and Regional APJ teams to drive our Go To Market efforts. Reporting to the GM of Global Accounts, APJ, this Commissioned role will be responsible for driving deep engagement with covered OEM accounts in ANZ and will be accountable for Consumption Revenue for the region.

The role will focus on:

  • Building and aligning a joint GTM strategy with select OEM Partners in ANZ

  • Focused on scaling adoption of Intel PC Client and Datacenter products in the region

  • Driving business acceleration through Sales programs and Marketing demand generation efforts in a way that is mutually beneficial for our customers and Intel

  • The SDM will also partner closely with peer SDM leads in other countries to drive regional and global collaboration.

  • Key stakeholders for success will include the APJ Regional SDMs, ANZ Country Manager, Partner Sales Alliance Managers, Country Account Executives and Technical Solution Specialists.

  • This is a commissioned sales position on the Global Accounts Team in APJ, a tightly knit high performance team responsible for Intel's business with some of its largest global customers.

  • The role will operate in a multi-cultural, inclusive and welcoming environment that has fostered amazing careers and is at the forefront key business motions at Intel.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities May Include But Not Be Limited To

  • Developing a Country GTM strategy for Intel's business growth with select OEMs in ANZ, working closely with the broader Intel sales team in APJ, pricing and supply teams and business unit stakeholders.

  • Expanding Intel's route to market with OEM including identifying new Cosell opportunities for differentiated technologies by building relationships with country sales, business development, and key partner leads

  • Influencing the Intel hardware and software roadmap to meet customer/partner needs by presenting field insights to technical and product experts

  • Scaling global sales programs across key product portfolios

  • Executive alignment and management internally and with OEM customer

  • Driving segment level strategies to maximize sales of Intel's products and platforms

  • Effective use of the sales and marketing tools that are available as part of our strategic alliance with OEMs


In addition to the qualifications a successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial

  • Prior sales experience in managing multinational alliances and partnerships

  • Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration across teams

  • Clear and confident communicator to a range of audiences from Sales / Product VPs, Directors to their teams

  • The candidate should be able to appreciate and articulate the value of Intel's Client (PC) and DCAI (Data Centre and AI) products and platforms


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or relevant subject area

  • Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in managing alliances and partnerships

  • Prior experience in Large account sales will be an added advantage

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Envision, plan, and execute strategies for growing all aspects of the business including both direct billing's revenue and technology consumption across all of Australia and New Zealand's industry and government sectors.

  • Be the voice of our customers both internally and externally to promote and engage a growing, creative, innovative, and diverse customer base.

  • Collaborate on marketing strategies and execution to build on the world-class Intel brand and accelerate demand.

  • Build strong, productive relationships with government, business associates, including OEMs, distributors, value added resellers, retailers, independent software vendors, developers, and system integrators to foster innovation and achieve Intel objectives.

  • Lead and develop a high performing and healthy sales team including account executives, retail sales, field applications engineers and partner account managers.

  • Manage business consumption, channel and retail sales motions to drive IA preference thru various internal Intel programs.

  • Willingness to partner closely with his or her team to drive change and challenge the status quo.

  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to encourage One Intel mindset to drive shared goals across teams.

  • Manage day to day execution to deliver on short term business goals.

  • Collaborate proactively and effectively with internal business units, regional and corporate stakeholders to communicate local market trends, threats and opportunities as well as secure needed support to execute to a well-defined strategy

  • Coordinate efforts across Intel's business groups to establish clear country priorities and execution.

  • Be responsible for the Intel SMG Australia virtual office as a site manager for the extended SMG employees.

  • Role modelling and cultivating the highest levels of integrity, ethics, respect and inclusion.

  • Maintain a governance model that keeps the country legal and in compliance with all Intel policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

As a successful candidate, you must demonstrate ability to:

  • Navigate a large corporate environment and collaborate to increase capabilities to provide customer centric solutions to our partners.

  • Develop and communicate a powerful organizational vision, connect people with Intel's vision, and inspire them to achieve it.

  • Identify the core Intel agenda requiring government support and leverage Intel's influence ethically.

  • Build relationships to influence agencies, customers, partners and regulatory bodies across Australia and New Zealand, whose policies and strategies impact Intel.

  • Build a strong, engaged and high-performing sales team that delivers results

  • Take informed risks and effectively challenge the status quo.


Also, you must possess and demonstrate, the following skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.

  • Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills in English.

  • Experience of client computing business with understanding of the broad PC client and, Data Centre and AI ecosystem.

  • Understanding of distribution and channel business with experience managing sales teams.

  • Well-versed in salesforce.com report and dashboard creation and tracking.


Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of sales and marketing leadership experience including:

  • Proven track record delivering geo sales and organizational results within complex and highly matrixed global corporations.

  • Technical competence in the portfolio of Intel products and solutions including emerging products and services.

  • Strong global leadership skills demonstrated with direct reports, matrix reports, and senior key business partners to deliver sales and organizational results.
