Key Responsibilities

  • System Requirements definition and validation analysis including architecture, functionality and dynamic performance
  • Hardware and Software requirements definition and analysis including key characteristics and performance aspects, electrical and data bus interfaces
  • Development process coordination and handoffs between internal and external stakeholders, communication with chief engineering and technical management
  • System Integration Test Support including facility architecture and requirements, test plans/procedures, test execution support and results review
  • Control System Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) Analysis involving issue troubleshooting at the aircraft or system level and definition of robust solutions to identified test problems
  • Executing control system integration and dynamic analysis standard processes / best practices
  • Product Line Engineering leadership for the Vapor Cycle System Product line


YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 10+ years of aerospace systems, control development or hardware / software experience on vapor cycle systems

Thermal design of Fired Heaters using FRNC software.
Primary single point contact for assigned technology area in Delhi for:
New Fired Heater Specifications
Sales / Service support
Revamp designs
Existing “Fired Heaters” evaluations
Fired Heaters troubleshooting
Maintain and coordinate development of required infrastructure within assigned technology area – in coordination with other local/ global specialist.
Specification of auxiliary Fired Heater equipment like Burner, APH, ID & FD Fans.
Participate in field/shop inspection or troubleshooting activities related to assigned technology area.
Work with corresponding technology specialist to improve design and develop new designs.
Working knowledge of industry standards like API 560, API 530, API 535 etc.
Familiarity with related vendors and their products.
Ability to perform technical evaluations of vendor proposals.
Minimum RequirementsBE Chemical/ Mechanical or equivalent degree.
Around 7+ years of experience in operations or design of Fired Heaters.
Proficient in the use of computers for specification generation, technical evaluations, and the electronic sharing of data across geographically separated work groups.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 2+ years’ experience working within a construction or field service environment

Manage supplier performance to ensure site is working with the right strategic suppliers to support short- and long-term objectives.
Take assertive position with suppliers who are past due to ensure that every alternative is explored to improve past due delivery schedules.
Create commodity-based sourcing strategies to ensure site is working with the appropriate vendors.Support transition teams to ensure project plans are updated and requirements on purchase of parts are defined and ordered, so that support of the transition and follow-on schedules is secured.
Procure material according to ordering policies designed to minimize inventory costs and being left with inactive, obsolete and surplus inventory.
