Description:
As an Advanced Application Engineer in Thailand, you will be responsible in a designated product or service line. You will play a key role in designing, testing and verifying within the team. Your expertise in application engineering will be essential to better the process and support the technical requirement to address future business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the engineering activities of Operator Training System (OTS) and Advanced Process Control (APC) to provide value-added engineering solutions
- Ensure successful completion of design; achieve desired quality to meet all design review and internal audit requirements
- Manage project schedules to meet delivery timelines Delivery of model sections for integration.
- Working to specification for model areas.
- Identify technical issues and obtain clarification.
- Participate in OTS and APC project validation and witness testing.
- It includes model building, tuning and integration of the models for OTS projects, meeting project requirements and quality assurance of the simulators being delivered.
- Expected some long working hours especially during critical stages of project.
MUST HAVE
- Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Have the spirit working with others, and building team works.
- System Design Engineering analysis and techniques, Preparation of Project documentation, Report progress to Project Manager/Technical Manager
- Experience of Operator Training Simulators and dynamic process simulation studies will be advantageous.
- Exposure to different Simulation Software used such as Shadow plant, HYSYS, Dynamism, Aspen plus, Pro II will be advantageous.
- Project Report writing skills in English language.
- Fluent in English and Thai language.
WE VALUE
- Experience in modeling and implementing high fidelity training simulator in industrial process units (oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.) will be advantageous
- Experience in process control knowledge and controller tuning will be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience in various control systems and applications such as DCS, ESD, PLC, APC, OMS, etc. will be advantageous
