Advanced Cyber Security Engineer/Network Specialist)

Honeywell.You will be responsible for the installed security and network infrastructure in terms of maintenance, optimization, and operation. Assume leadership role in assigned projects, insuring project delivered on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of our customers. Delivery Cybersecurity Services such as Assessments, Architectures and Responses. Maintain knowledge of current industry security standards such as IEC-62443 and ISO 27001.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key focal point for maintenance and support for the network and security infrastructure
  • Ensure that the necessary asset registers containing information on all network components and security applications in the PCD have been produced and maintained, including all required configuration details
  • Assure that all systems equipment and network components have appropriate backup/restore arrangements and related disaster recovery capabilities
  • Monitor servers, networks and communication equipment for any security alert using implemented tools, systems and applications
  • Review security logs and provide reports for identifying potential intrusion into systems and networks, and escalate potential incidents as necessary, and to ensure the incident is properly investigate, remediated, reviewed and closed
  • Manage antivirus solutions to ensure all PCD nodes receive effective and up-to-date endpoint protection.
  • Participate in the planning of upgrades and installations of new versions of OT security hardware and software
  • This Position is related to Poland but will also have work in other countries like Germany. You will be based in a Honeywell Office for 40% - 50% of your working time, 50% - 60% will be at customer’s site.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related subject, such as computer science, computer information systems or electronics, alternatively four years of experience in systems engineering of industrial-automation or IT networks
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial automation network systems engineering

3+ years working with IT Security

2+ years Industrial Networking

2+ years experience in Security Projects

1+ years performing audits/assessments

  • CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional or similar security certification
  • Good Experience with most common Security Software Types like Antivirus, Backup and Monitoring Solutions
  • Good Experience with Security Network Components like Firewalls and Switch/Router ACL
  • Troubleshooting to solve common network and/or application or system integration problems
  • Good Experience with Microsoft – Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server
  • Knowledge about ISO 27001 and IEC 62443

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for building automation systems.
  • Conduct in-depth security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle of products and systems.
  • Act as a technical mentor, providing guidance and support to junior cybersecurity professionals.
  • Participate in incident response activities, contributing technical expertise to resolve security incidents promptly.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years software development experience required with at-least 2 years in developing secure systems.
  • Product architecture and development background. Secure software development lifecycle experience, understanding of security by design principles and architecture level security concepts.
  • Exhaustive experience around security requirements reviews, performing threat modeling, security architecture & design review, secure code review, vulnerability assessment and risk management.
  • Experience with widely used security tools like SD Elements, BlackDuck Hub, Microsoft Threat modeling tool, SAST (Coverity, SonarQube), DAST (Burp, ZAP, AppSpider), Fuzzing, Vulnerability management and continuous monitoring tools.


WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or another related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cybersecurity teams..
  • Up to date knowledge of current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities.
  • Understanding of Agile software development practices.
  • Sound understanding of Cryptography, encryption algorithms, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Secure boot and Open source risk management.
  • Certifications in security and privacy demonstrating deep practical knowledge such as CSSLP or CISSP
