Estimator II - hybrid

As aatWarsaw, you will translate Customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to create the lowest achievable installation cost estimate; records all assumptions, exclusions and specification deviations for inclusion within the proposal specialized on HVAC/BMS.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work fromhome model.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sales Team in understanding and assessing Customer’s requirements.
  • Design jobs for the purpose of providing sales estimates; this would include value engineering, developing the design to a level that will enable robust product, labor and subcontractor estimating.
  • Should possess the ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions to internal and external Customers e.g. accompanying Sales to conduct site surveys, accurately reviewing Customer specifications, and with the ability to identify opportunities, risks, and resources required to achieve results within the proposal cycle.
  • Select the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials, and services that will deliver the highest value to the Customer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives.
  • Work with Sales Representatives to assess estimating productivity, win rates and facilitate feedback.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, experience in multicultural environment.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Building Management Systems, HVAC, estimating, selling, project implementation.
  • Fluent English and Polish (at least B2).
  • Documentation tools expertise (submittals, drawings /AutoCAD/, etc.), MS Office package pro user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
  • Field Experience.

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

· Complete Ownership of Proposal Estimation Deliveries of the highest quality possible and continually seek out ways to improve the way we serve our customers.

· Leverage systems and tools like Salesforce, CPQ, SAP, sizing calc, etc….to accurately maintain estimating templates, responses, and supporting processes in the region, that demonstrate business benefits.

· Follow required workflow, coordinate & support the overall workload of Estimation with other team leaders globally. Support discount request form process and cost related information using SAP whenever required.

· Working with Procurement, Evaluate the Technical and Commercial Offers received from Third Party Vendors and Honeywell Business Units.

· Handles customer queries as required; provides customer assistance in tasks associated with sales process.

Engineering degree – Preferred in: Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering

· +3 years of experience in industrial sales/ sales support / proposal & estimation / bid management

Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and verbal are mandatory (min. C1)

· Knowledge of Field Instrumentation products like: Regulators, metering, Filters, Slam Shut valves, and Other solutions Oil & Gas market is a strong plus

· Knowledge of Honeywell portfolio and competitor solutions and their offers is a strong plus

· Strong numerical aptitude and demonstrated proficiency with Excel
