  • Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by team leader.
  • Keep technically current with the HBS products and offerings. Understand legacy systems/upgrades and use all new systems/products.
  • System upgrades, augmentation, modifications, and maintenance services
  • (Installation/configuration/implementation/commissioning/maintenance support) of Honeywell’s HBS offerings
  • Internal processes and reporting: Adopt and adhere to global standard in terms of tracking of actions (tools and timing) and promptly submit timesheets and billable work to ensure on time invoicing

Financial controlaccording to previously agreed budgets and plans.

  • Support Working Capital Team and Service Administrator to collect the payment on time from customer.
  • Customer growth and development: Identifies and develop opportunities for business growth cooperating actively with sales to progress them having an active and influential role with the customer to develop the solution. Actively engages with sales to pursue the opportunities (actively generate and support sales leads) and provides customers with the most effective solutions
  • Provide special / custom training to customers upon request.

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for detailed mechanical engineering for production releases, development and maintaining of Honeywell CD actuator products. Responsibilities include project management, custom mechanical design, development, implementation, integration, testing and validation of assigned products to meet defined product requirements.

  • As part of a formalized product team, participate in development and production release of advanced actuator systems to manufacturing. Work includes engineering production releases, design for obsolescence replacements, new designs to replace legacy products, troubleshooting and failure analysis. All work is carried out in accordance with established ISO design control procedures and design for six sigma (DFSS) methodology.
  • Participate in maintaining and improving engineering processes and methods to constantly improve efficiency and quality of work. This includes working with state-of-the-art mechanical engineering design and simulation tools.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation including standard designs, standard drawings, BOMs, assembly and test instructions, specifications, cost reports, forms, lists, procedures, and manuals.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and Honeywell field during the manufacturing and commissioning phases of projects

The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000- $120,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • 2+ Years Mechanical engineering experience including design and engineering in an advanced technology and/or manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years of experience with Autodesk 3D/2D or similar tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Honeywell's Aerospace Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001).
  • Partner with business leaders and employees to continuously improve HSE competence, culture, awareness and accountability, in support of site and business group HSE objectives.
  • Utilize six-sigma tools and behavior-based safety strategies to guide injury prevention efforts.
  • Support incident investigations, determine root cause, develop corrective actions, and conduct closure verification activities. Monitor trends and champion injury/illness reduction.
  • Support HSE inspections, self-assessments and audits. Manage reports and present summaries to management with recommended solutions. Manage corrective action closure.
  • Provide expertise during concept and design phases of manufacturing processes to ensure that sound HSE control methodologies are integrated into design.
  • Coordinate and manage critical HSE programs, such as confined space, lockout/tagout, electrical safety, fall protection, hazardous waste management, etc., and work to continuously improve integration of processes across the site.
  • Coordinate safety assessments, and deploy corrective measures to continuously reduce site hazard risk profile.
  • Evaluate the health/safety and environmental impact, and evaluate potential exposures, of using new chemicals and processes prior to introduction to site.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee HSE training activities.
  • Serve as liaison with third-party assessors and regulatory agencies.
  • Lead the site Emergency Response Team.
  • Support the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
  • Assume the role of Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) or Alternate RSO, ensuring site compliance with Federal and Provincial radiation safety regulations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 6 years of HSE experience.
  • Post secondary education in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or other related field is required.
