Gong Marketing Analytics Manager United States, Illinois, Chicago

Limitless High-tech career opportunities - Expoint
BI Reporting: Design and manage a portfolio of dashboards (primarily Tableau) that help teams make smarter, faster decisions. Your work will become the primary reporting layer used across Marketing and...
Description:

We’re hiring a Marketing Analytics Manager to lead how we track, report, and improve marketing performance. This role is hands-on. Your primary focus will be building high-quality Tableau dashboards powered by Snowflake, and you'll also help guide our broader marketing measurement and reporting strategy.

You’ll own the data layer from start to finish. That means writing SQL in Snowflake to build clean, usable data models, and turning those models into dashboards people actually use. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Strategy to ensure the metrics we report reflect our priorities and drive smarter decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • BI Reporting: Design and manage a portfolio of dashboards (primarily Tableau) that help teams make smarter, faster decisions. Your work will become the primary reporting layer used across Marketing and Revenue leadership.
  • Work Directly in the Warehouse: Use SQL to build and maintain the core datasets behind the dashboards. You will work in Snowflake or similar systems to ensure data is accurate, modeled properly, and easy to use.
  • Translate Business Needs Into Analytics Solutions: Partner with leaders across Marketing Ops, GTM Strategy, and Finance to understand key questions and build tools that serve repeatable use cases. This includes defining KPIs, aligning on definitions, and enabling self-serve access.
  • Run Strategic Analyses: Conduct deep-dive analysis on program performance, pipeline drivers, and conversion trends. Your insights will be used to guide quarterly planning and improve execution.
  • Shape the Future of Marketing Measurement: Contribute to attribution models, performance frameworks, and planning processes that define how we track marketing’s impact. You will help evolve the way we think about performance, not just report on it.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering in a B2B Marketing SaaS environment.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working in Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms.
  • Deep Tableau expertise with a portfolio of dashboards that improved clarity, decision-making, and business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to turn messy or incomplete data into clean, actionable reporting that scales across functions.
  • Strong communicator who can frame problems clearly and share insights that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with systems like Salesforce, Marketo, and campaign tracking tools are a plus.
PERKS & BENEFITS
  • We offer Gongsters a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, designed to fit you and your family’s needs.
  • Wellbeing Fund - flexible wellness stipend to support a healthy lifestyle.
  • Mental Health benefits with covered therapy and coaching.
  • 401(k) program to help you invest in your future.
  • Education & learning stipend for personal growth and development.
  • Flexible vacation time to promote a healthy work-life blend.
  • Paid parental leave to support you and your family.
  • Company-wide recharge days each quarter.
  • Work from home stipend to help you succeed in a remote environment.
