As a Sales Manager within Gong, you will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing a team of experienced Account Executives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. You will lead initiatives in the French market as we continue to grow our business there and also take the lead on initiatives to drive the growth of Gong in EMEA as we look to penetrate new territories.

This is a hybrid in-office role, where you are expected to be in office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Hire, ramp, develop, and promote a team of experienced Account Executives.

  • Own the market strategy for France and represent Gong at market events

  • High levels of self motivation, ownership, and adaptability, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of UX Writers and Technical Writers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic direction, feedback, and career development opportunities.
  • Establish Best Practices and Governance: Implement scalable processes, style guides, and content governance models to ensure consistency, clarity, accuracy, and tone of voice across all product content, aligned with Gong's brand and voice. You will champion the adoption of AI-powered grammar, style, and consistency checkers.Spearhead the implementation of AI tools to enhance grammar, style, and consistency.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Product Design, Customer Success, Support and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Content Excellence: Oversee the creation and maintenance of highly accurate, comprehensive, and easy-to-understand technical documentation for complex SaaS features. You will explore and implement AI-assisted drafting and summarization techniques to streamline documentation workflows.
  • Measurement and Optimization: Define metrics for content effectiveness and use data to iterate and improve content strategies and outputs.
