Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Service Sales orders and sales operations target for assigned accounts and or territory;
  • Ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities;
  • Forecast sales within the applicable sales funnel tools;
  • Create territory/account plans including opportunity development, competitive strategies and targets;
  • Build strong business relationships and formulate account relationship plans within the assigned accounts/ territory, identify & respond to key account technical and departmental decision makers’ needs and maintain customer contact records in the relevant tools (SFDC etc.);
  • Maintain a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory;
  • Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of their product/solution/services. Be able to present and discuss the technology and clinical benefits in terms which are relevant to customers;
  • Develop their understanding of the customers changing clinical and/or operational issues and challenges;
  • Identify current clinical and technical needs of clients;
  • Create viable product configurations which meet customer needs effectively, while achieving optimum margin for GE;
  • Differentiate assigned product offering during the various stages of the sales process
  • Effectively using GE resources and approved product marketing and product promotion material towards a successful outcome for GE;
  • Represent the company at relevant medical conferences and technical exhibitions to promote product/solution and company;
  • Identify and create new opportunities and work with account teams to continuously increase prospect funnel;
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules;
  • Contribute to account plans at accounts covered by account managers/executives;
  • Collaborate with and leverage subject matter experts and other resources within GEHC channels to build relationships and secure business;
  • Share and follow-up identified leads to other product lines within own accounts and or One GEHC accounts;
  • Adhere to and uphold highest standards of compliance to relevant international and local Regulatory and GE Healthcare Promotional Codes;
  • Adhere to all applicable GE and GE Healthcare compliance policies, codes and training requirements
  • Identify any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Requirements

  • Higher education in technical, medical or finance fields
  • Minimum 3 years of selling/promotion experience in a medical, healthcare or technical field
  • Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based sales approach
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Strong capacity and drive to develop career
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent negotiation & closing skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Able to travel

Description:
As a Software Engineer for our Science and Technology office, you’ll work on the cutting edge of cloud technology as you scope and lead complex technical projects, laying the groundwork for early-stage products to iterate and scale. You’ll help to design, build, and maintain user-facing experiences, APIs, scalable distributed services, and systems – driving software engineering best practices and delivering high quality software on tight schedules. The work will be part of, but not limited to, the projects that are part of the recently created Wisconsin Tech Hub.


Roles/Responsibilities

  • Work with a cross functional team to create software products under approved architecture and under the roadmap set by the product management team
  • Take ownership of the implementation of individual software components, with high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices
  • Participate in software design reviews, you conduct peer code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team.
  • Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
  • Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all the team deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience across the stack including front end engineering and modern design principles
  • 1+ year of experience with building scalable, distributed systems using a modern cloud framework such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Core, SpringBoot, JPA (e.g. Hibernate)

Desired Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience
  • Previous experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Integration and Data)
  • Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with design/architecting large-scale distributed systems preferably using AWS technologies
  • Previous experience working directly with end customers to assess needs, identify solutions, and constructively resolve disagreements
  • Previous experience with big data systems, analytics, containerized microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven architecture
  • Bring fresh ideas from all areas, including testing and validation automation while maintaining the production availability, conversion automation, distributed computing, large-scale system design
  • Experience with supporting production software deployments
  • Technical expertise across all deployment models on public cloud, and on-premises infrastructure
  • Experience creating, documenting, and communicating software architectures for complex products
  • Experience in building, tracking, and communicating plans within Agile processes
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies
