Evaluate complex customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, perform PM and safety/environmental inspections, and maintain effective customer relations.

Meet Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety requirements, and all other applicable regulatory requirements.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
OR related field and 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment;
OR equivalent military education and 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment;
OR High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using technological tools (e.g., Ipad, Iphone) and familiar with technological programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Experience developing and maintaining good customer relations at all levels (e.g., nurses, doctors, leadership).
Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner.
Ability to work independently and as a team to implement solutions through problem solving.
Hold and maintain a valid US driver's license.
Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.

The Field Engineer II will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing medical equipment for one or more modalities within a hospital or healthcare system in Central FL.
Roles and Responsibilities:The Imaging Field Engineer 2 performs on time and accurate Preventative Maintenance in one or more modalities of equipment. The FE2 is aware of and follows all Field Modification Instructions and/or Instrument Service Information bulletins.
Perform both onsite and remotely, troubleshooting, repair and equipment installation techniques. Responsible for driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.
Complete on-time and accurate Preventative Maintenance, FMIs and/or ISIs.
Perform equipment installation.
Effectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues.
Effectively communicate with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
Partner with the customer and recommend value-added services that will help the customer run their business more efficiently.
Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.
Utilize the GEHC escalation process, as needed, and work closely with region and national support to define and implement corrective action plans to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts.
