In this role you will support MI clinical commercial & marketing activities with innovative PET/SPECT/post-processing solutions to help generate new clinical evidence on key procedure trends (onco, cardio and neuro).


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Individuals in these roles typically have a clinical background or experience in a healthcare/biomedical/bioengineering environment.

  • The Intern - MI Clinical specialist will act as the interface between customers, sales/marketing and Engineering teams. He/She focuses on clinical satisfaction and maintains excellent customer relationship.

  • Support the implementation of advanced clinical activities on novel PET/CT, SPECT/CT and post-processing solutions mainly within an academic environment.

  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good adaptative behavior to be able to navigate within different types of working environment.

  • Good interpersonal skills and strong customer relationships to serve as the interface between customer and GEHC.

  • Able to understand and explain technical information to others.

  • Sense of marketing and storytelling.

Required Qualifications:

  • This role requires solid experience in the Engineering/Technology & Clinical Applications. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • Extensive communication will be done in English

Description:
As a Clinical Specialist Interventional, you provide technical and clinical support to clients in Belgium, Luxemburg and partly in France. This involves providing the required pre-sale product demonstrations as well as post-sale installation, training and customer service activities. In addition, you provide ongoing post-sale customer support including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support. The role involves frequent travel throughout BeLux and to France (one week out of 6) and requires fluent Dutch, French and English.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate and deliver product training to customers on software, application and equipment use, monitor customer installations to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships;
  • Improve customer satisfaction and socket retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer;
  • Produce well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs;
  • Participate in the development of online materials for advanced applications and lead webinars;
  • Become a recognized expert in product/clinical technical skills, answering a wide range of questions regarding software and clinical applications;
  • Use market and product knowledge to assist the sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies;
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences with educational training and product demonstrations.

Basic requirements and qualifications

  • Minimum associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in related technical-clinical field;
  • Fluent Dutch, French and English;
  • Clinical experience in Interventional or Mobile C-armin large hospital or university setting, preferably in Interventional;
  • Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region, as well as to nationwide meetings, workshops and tradeshows;
  • Willingnessto travel frequently in France to ensure first training of medical staff when needed to back up the French clinical team;
  • Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired);
  • Flexible, able to adapt to changing work environments.

Description:
As Modality Sales Specialist BeLux you will drive all activities needed to achieve and exceed sales targets for the MR and CT portfolio in Belgium and Luxemburg. This involves follow-up of GE HealthCare products to the medical community by supporting and coordinating the local activities with onsite clinical in-servicing, go-live support, and organization of onsite events both for clinical as commercial purposes. You will act as the go-to person for all topics related to the MR and CT modality across segments. The role requires tri-lingual proficiency in Dutch, French and English.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Increase orders, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction levels within the MR/CT segments in Belgium;
  • Build long-term customer relationships and maintain a high level customer satisfaction while optimizing GE resources;
  • Drive the sales of interventional product lines and solutions;
  • Organize clinical site visits to showcase our solutions and latest innovations;
  • Collaborate with the Modality Manager to define the marketing plan and associated budget for the region, ensuring its execution and return on investment;
  • Prepare and coordinate responses to tenders and validate tender documents in collaboration with the sector tender team;
  • Effectively monitor the market and provide up-to-date data and accurate forecasts using available tools;
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to maximize sales potential and share leads with the appropriate colleagues;
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s quality policies and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in a Business, Commercial or related field, combined with relevant Sales or Marketing experience in a medical environment;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, English and French is a must;
  • Clinical experience in MR required, commercial experience on top of that would be a plus;
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, adaptable to change;
  • Analytical and solution oriented mind-set;
  • Understanding of networked environments, able to work in a complex matrix organization;
  • Willing to travel, primarily throughout Belgium.
