At Fortinet, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Marketing Engineer to join our expanding team.
The Technical Marketing Engineer supports strategic marketing initiatives and product launches within Fortinet’s global technology organization. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in the Information Technology (IT) and Technology Infrastructure space, as well as strong product launch background. The ideal candidate will possess advocacy and project management skills, driven by the need to strategically launch products that make innovative technology accessible to the general market.
Responsibilities and essential functions of the Technical Marketing Engineer include establishing relationships with IT resource teams to understand technical trends to ensure Fortinet’s strategic product efforts are successful and competitive; working closely with product management and sales teams to launch products into the markets and successfully manage the market’s response; developing and communicating technical messaging including white papers, case studies, demos, scripts, and presentations; and leading technical education and certification programs.
This role requires the ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand customer and market requirements, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and a strong technical background.
