Description:

The Regional Solution Architect (MSSP) will be the expert to design, develop and drive technical solution across our managed security services portfolio. You will work with Enterprise clients, internal teams and technology partners to create scalable and secure service architectures that align with customer requirements and industry best practices.

As a Regional Solution Architect, you will:

  • Be a highly skilled individual, involved in designing integrated managed security services solution across Fortinet solution domain such as Firewall and Network Security Services, SIEM/SOC as a service, Managed Detection & Response (MDR/XDR), Cloud Security, etc.
  • Create high and low level architecture documents, diagrams and solution roadmaps. Finding the best technical solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems.
  • Present to MSSP partners and customers as our expert in the domain and Fortinet’s Security Fabric at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO.
  • Serve as a technical SME across MSSP services, helping scope and define standardize offering. He should be field and deals focused, evangelizing solution offering, customer engagement for strategic or large service creation opportunities.
  • Formulate technical win strategies and discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace, lead technical discussion, presentation and workshop with customer and prospects.
  • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security. Landscape that every partner/customer needs to be aware of and planning to deal with when moving to the next generation infrastructure and service offering.
  • Work closely with the Regional SE Director, Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D team, while sharing feedback from the field and promoting new technical requirements (RFEs).
  • Provide design consultation and best practice guidance, assist in responding to RFIs/RFPs with detailed solution architectures, integrations and service delivery models.
  • Champion the Service Creation Engagement Practice to develop deep technical account coverage, collaborate with SOC, engineering, and onboarding team to ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions.
  • Work closely with the regional cybersecurity specialist and support in operationalization of new services by providing design standard, onboarding templates and process flow.
  • Demonstration, proof of value and proof of concept that showcase our value argumentations, evaluate integrate third party technologies, ensure all solution align with relevant security frameworks (e.g. NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO27001, PCI-DSS).

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • 7+ years in security architecture, solutions engineering, or technical pre-sales roles, 3+ years in a Managed Security Services or Security Operations environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewall management, cloud-native security tools, and security automation (SOAR). Good understanding of various enterprise security and networking solution, experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networking, Network Security, Virtualization and Cloud Computing.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders. Strong documentation, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
  • Familiarity with service catalogs, SLAs, and managed service delivery models. Knowledge of MSSP pricing, onboarding models, and integration strategies.
  • Good team player and highly motivated individual with strong problem solver mentality.
  • Preferably with achievement on CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, FCNSP NSE, AWS CSA or MCSE.

  • Lead and support in demonstration, proof of value and proof of concept that showcase our value argumentations. Provide demos for strategic prospects and current accounts in all facets of Fortinet’s security fabric for cloud offerings and integration in existing on premise environments.
  • Help develop relationships with new Cloud-focused partners who will be critical to winning over new top-tier customers.
  • Be a highly skilled individual and present to customers as our expert in Azure, AWS or AliCloud and Fortinet’s Security Fabric for the Cloud strategy at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO.
  • Be field and deals focused, customer engagement for strategic or large opportunities. Formulate technical win strategies, assist in RFP/RFI.
  • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape that every partner/customer needs to be aware of and planning to deal with when moving critical data, intellectual property, and mission-critical applications to Cloud.
  • Discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative.
  • Be involved in Marketing event, seminar and workshop.
  • Interact locally and remotely with customers in an equally persuasive manner.
  • Build technical materials, SE tool to expedite deal closure and drive incremental pipelines.

  • In-depth knowledge of various Cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, VMWare, Openstack, Openshift and AliCloud and other security technologies – both from a technology and a business driver standpoint
  • In-depth knowledge on CI/CD, CNAPP, CSPN, CWPP and CIEM.
  • Demonstrable experience in securing these environments.
  • BSCS or equivalent and 8+ years of experience as an SE, consultant or architect in cloud/security related area.
  • Preferably with achievement on CCNP, CISSP, FCNSP NSE, AWS CSA or MCSE.
  • Good Understanding on Web Application Security.
  • Experience on SDN and virtualization solution like VMWare NSX-T and KVM.
  • Experience of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting like python.
  • Understanding current automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef.
  • Demonstrable experience with Cloud installation, configuration and administration of routing and security.
