In this key role, you will work closely with Major Accounts on the creation and implementation of strategic plans. You will be focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of our telco/carrier and/or cloud security solutions. You will help manage, direct and drive the engineering outcome on key opportunities and projects in your assigned region. Furthermore, you will develop and nurture executive relationships with key buyers and influencers, to understand their strategic direction and objectives. You will also coordinate with internal groups to generate and deliver winning contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work. You will also represent the CSE team as a technical expert on Fortinet core technology products – FortiGate, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.

As a Consulting Systems Engineer you will:

  • Present Fortinet carrier and cloud security solutions to our customers. This will require you to adapt your presentation style to suit the audience, from C-Level, to Management and technical.
  • Serve as the pre-sales technical escalation resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
  • Work closely with the Systems Engineers and Account Managers to maximize the primary business focus. You will serve as leader responsible for the quality and success of technical resources in enterprise accounts.
  • Develop technical account plans to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibility.
  • Provide support to product management to help drive new products and innovations.
  • Facilitate workshops and training modules to increase customers/partners knowledge of Fortinet products.
  • Support and work through the entire process of sales, workshops, RFI/RFQ and PoC.
  • Pickup trends from customers and seek product innovation from Fortinet into those segments.
