What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop and manage production forecast based on master plan, timelines, material needs in order to define production requirements based on plant capacity, which are aligned with company goals.
  • Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, communicating updates to all relevant parties and ensure material supplies able to meet the changes
  • Produces revenue investigation and annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports.
  • Conducts special studies, investigations relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and gives in improvements.
  • Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management
  • Liaise with operation team to resolved daily production line disruption and productivity issues.
  • In charge of the development and implementation of the company’s production control functions including Master Scheduling, ProductionPlanning/Coordination,Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.
  • Develops material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs. Utilizes models for defining material planning parameters for components.
  • Approves quantities, schedules and parts list provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements.
  • Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, hold up performance and process procedures.
  • Interfaces with customers to ensure delivery dedications are met and with subordinates, functional peer group managers and senior management.
  • Interfaces with purchasing to expedite problem parts and to reschedule material deliveries that will result in excess inventory.
  • Notifies Materials and Program Management of material situation that affect the attainment of the production plan.
  • Travel as necessary.

  • Typically requires 10+ years of progressive responsibility in production control and planning or related area, including supervision.

  • Create annual execution plan and 3 year strategy to manage assets based on projected business needs.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement of Utilization on key equipment areas(SMT, ICT AXI)

  • Ensure Capacity is right sized to meet the future business and technology requirements.

  • Coordinate ,Support and identify asset redeployment opportunities across Flex Operations.
  • Work with internal and third parties to ensure inbound equipment delivery lead-times and schedules are maintained on key projects.
  • Support Digitization strategy in relation to Equipment Performance (PCBA)
  • Based on priority support Project launch in relation to equipment and capacity
  • Coordinate Assets disposal and ensure compliance to relevant process and procedures
  • Develop plans with Site and Segment operations to improve productivity and Utilization
  • Develop plans with Site and Segment operations to upgrade aged equipment and technology
  • Capital Equipment Investment , Vendor Selection and Compliance.
  • Support Capex Investment forecasting and review
  • Identify Capex Investment Reduction opportunities.
  • Ensure Supplier Selection process follows global AVL for Standard production equipment (Per asset Management formal Listing)
  • In the case of localized Equipment solutions are proposed that local policy and procedure is adhered to in relation to procurement compliance during capex submission review
  • Control purchase order issuance to ensure approved investment is still applicable based on current capacity requirements (May changed based on approved capex amount)
  • Ensure Vendors are aligned with capacity needs plans at early stage.
  • Validate Paybacks where applicable (Example – Custom Automation projects)
  • Hold up the negotiation of rental agreements
  • Ensure local price proposals are aligned to Global Supply Agreement / local price standards.
  • In case of high priority / big spend investments greater than $5m ensure capex integration process is support which looks at overall picture in relation to Business Case , Space , equipment and risks.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training. Typically requires a minimum of 5~6 years of working experience, including supervision.
