Reporting to theOperations Managerrole is responsible to directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the following areas of a manufacturing department; multi-level assembly, electronic card/system testing and quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and manage tracking systems for analyzing production rates and product quality and identifying production issues before they arise
• Coordinate manufacturing staff to maximize efficiency,
• including creating the schedule, managing labor costs & giving instructions and based on work orders
• Manage the inventory to ensure we always have the supply needed to complete production quotas quickly and efficiently, placing orders when necessary in advance so inventory is restocked before depletion
• Fulfill administrative duties, completing production reports and shift overviews that detail production rates and worker performances
• Present production information to management, including suggestions for potential improvement and strategies for implementing these suggestions
• Train new staff to ensure all employees are performing at the same level and all recruits reach this level within the first two weeks of employment

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in addition to 8 years of operations experience. A Masters degree is preferred.
• Ability to present information to top management, and public groups.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

• Guarantee production, delivery in full, on time and in specifications, required by customers, at the most cutthroat cost
• Define operational financial goals
• Operational business experience including a successful performance track record managing staff and P&L
• Establish and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.
• Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.
• Meet with Executive Business at least monthly to review and evaluate KOI’s.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for developing and delivering learning solutions for the assigned client group(s) within operations, and providing on-going coaching and feedback to ensure associates have the necessary skills to meet the requirements of their position.
• Delivers new hire training and other training programs to assigned client groups.

• Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
