  • Interface with customers on technical/quality issues and improvement initiatives.

  • Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
  • Visits and confers with representatives of material and component vendors to obtain information related to supply quality, capacity of vendor to meet orders and vendor quality standards.

What a typical day looks like:

Strictly implement safety production regulations, organize the investigation of safety hazards, ensure workshop production safety, and prevent safety accidents from occurring.

Strictly implement quality standards and process flow, supervise the operation specifications of pre-treatment, spraying, curing and other links before powder coating, and ensure that product quality meets requirements

Organize quality inspection work, analyze the causes of non-conforming products, develop improvement measures and track their implementation to reduce the defect rate. Ensure that department managers comply with environmental health and safety regulations and requirements, and promote continuous improvement of environmental health and safety.

Reasonably control the material consumption (such as powder, solvent, etc.) and energy consumption (such as electricity, gas, etc.) in the workshop production process to reduce production costs.

Optimize the production process, improve production efficiency, reduce wasted working hours, and enhance the overall efficiency of the workshop

Responsible for developing and implementing daily maintenance plans for workshop equipment, coordinating equipment repairs, ensuring normal equipment operation, and extending equipment lifespan.

Continuously optimize the production process of sheet metal powder coating, introduce advanced production technology and management methods, and improve the production level of the workshop.

Maintain communication and coordination with relevant departments such as procurement, sales, and technology to ensure that production plans match material supply and market demand.

Coordinate with other departments to promote excellent operation and continuous improvement of lean production.

Manage appropriate staffing, provide resources and cultivate talents.

Implement appropriate human resources strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and active workforce

College degree or above.

More than 5 years of production management experience, with mechanical or metal parts processing production management experience is preferred

Familiar with the entire process of sheet metal processing and powder coating technology (such as pre-treatment, powder coating, curing, etc.), understand the working principles and maintenance knowledge of related equipment (powder gun, curing furnace, etc.).

Familiar with printing production processes (transfer printing and screen printing)

Master quality management tools (such as SPC, QC seven methods, etc.), able to identify and solve quality problems during the powder coating process (such as uneven coating, orange peel, pinholes, etc.)

Familiar with ISO9001 and other quality management systems, preferably with internal auditor qualifications, able to lead the implementation and optimization of workshop quality systems

Having specialized training in lean production, 5S/6S on-site management, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and mastering scientific production management methods.

Being able to clearly communicate production plans, standards, and requirements, while patiently listening to the opinions of employees and other departments, effectively resolving communication conflicts across departments or within teams, and ensuring smooth information transmission.

Being able to quickly and calmly analyze unexpected situations (such as equipment failures, quality fluctuations, material shortages), make decisive decisions, and develop solutions to avoid production interruptions or expanded losses.

The production pace in the workshop is fast and the tasks are heavy. It is necessary to maintain focus and efficiency in high-intensity work, balance multitasking, and not be influenced by pressure to make judgments.

Responsible for the entire production process, paying attention to details (such as the implementation of safety regulations and quality standards), able to proactively take responsibility, and not shirk responsibility.
