  • Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
  • May be assigned to specific group focused on product or infrastructure.
  • Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Master internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or in a related field. Requires 12 months of experience in job offered or in a related occupation
  • Requires 12 months of experience involving the following:
  • 1. Develop monetization tools for creators on digital platforms
  • 2. Develop Ad features that help businesses source their ad creative from the creators
  • 3. Improving the app performance on digital platforms
  • 4. Ensure app features are built in a privacy safe manner and
  • 5. Ensure new insights reported to businesses and creators are accurate and aggregated with privacy in mind

  • Working on problems of diverse scope, develop highly scalable systems, algorithms and tools leveraging deep learning, data regression, and rules based models.
  • Suggest, collect, analyze and synthesize requirements and bottleneck in technology, systems, and tools.
  • Demonstrates good judgment to develop solutions that iterate orders of magnitude with a higher efficiency, efficiently leverage orders of magnitude and more data, and explore state-of-the-art deep learning techniques.
  • Receiving little instruction from supervisor, code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team.

  • Responsible for planning and technical oversight of project execution within the data centers of their region
  • Work as a technical SME with cross-functional data center teams regionally and globally
  • Be an escalation point for questions from the data centers involving capacity planning
  • Be the primary communication point for regional cross-functional partners to the data centers within their region
  • Provide guidance, mentor technical peers, and determine efficient solutions that will define/refine tooling and existing/new processes
  • Plan for large-scale deployments of hardware, while considering space, power, cooling, networking, and resiliency
  • Provide cross data center support including identifying potentially larger issues, trends, and displaying effective communication when something is identified
  • Help develop global standards for processes, workflow and automation roadmaps for tools that facilitate deployment, maintaining and decommissioning of server hardware at scale
  • Lead process improvements and best practice in data center operations
  • Build cross-functional relationships and influence policies and procedures to improve global data center operations
  • Travel up to 30% required
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of infrastructure or related experience
  • Knowledge of the interdependencies of data center functions and technologies
  • Experience managing multiple projects within the same time schedule
  • Communication skills with the capacity to interact to many different people with varying levels of expertise across multiple disciplines
  • Time and project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large-scale data center environments
  • Proven experience in the application of project management techniques such as PRINCE2/Agile, or continuous improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of the demand signal within Meta with tools such as suplan, cord and the teams involved
  • Knowledge of enterprise level networking and storage equipment installs
  • Intimate knowledge of the demand signal life cycle for large data centers
  • Capacity to prioritize many conflicting priorities
