As a member of the Strategy and Transaction`s team, you will participate in engagements related to the most exciting transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. You will analyze the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with management. You’ll make technical contributions to client engagements and internal projects. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of the target business and its market, and of clients’ issues, performing research of the target’s industry and of companies operating in that sector. Your duties will also include supervising the junior members of the team and keeping management team members abreast of progress and of any significant issues.

• Participate in business and financial modeling engagements
• Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information
• Assist in preparing analyses of financial information and reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
• Participate in building different financial models based on historical data of a business and providing forecasts based on the analysis of historical data as well as industry metrics
• Ensuring implementation of processes to improve budget and preparation of the company’s forecasts
• Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with target management teams
• Ensure that client requests are communicated to the senior-in-charge and addressed on a timely
basis
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

• Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in business and financial modeling is a must
• Accountancy background
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English
• Excellent technical and computer skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team in conducting research and analysis of tax regulations and other related regulations to support the provision of tax advisory services to clients
• Assist/lead the team in preparing advices related to applicable taxes (i.e., Corporate income tax, value added tax, foreign contractor tax, import/export tax, global minimum tax etc.) and related regulatory/corporate issues
• Assist to prepare/review the tax update/tax newsflash to update clients about the latest legal development regarding taxes and related issues
• Assist to monitor work process as assigned by Manager, Director
• Perform other related works as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduated from Universities with major in Law, Commerce, Business, Economics, Foreign trade, tax, finance
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Ability to work and perform under pressure with tight deadlines
• Enthusiastic, demonstrate “can do” and “team working” attitude with an ability to learn quickly
• Effective communication skills, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Sound computer literacy (Word, MS excel, Power Point…)
• Having at least 2 years working experience in the tax area

• Understands and explains to staff the objectives of an audit, planned other services, and the staff's role in the audit process
• Stays abreast of general business and economic developments and,

• Identifies unusual or unexpected transactions, and explains important developments/matters to staff

• Executes audit procedures, such as understanding and evaluating significant sources of information, testing controls, and performing substantive procedures in moderately complex, judgmental and/or specialized areas. Drafts financial statements and footnote disclosures in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles
• Prepares memoranda and other working papers, letters, and correspondence (e.g., Audit Planning Memorandum, Audit Approach Plan, management letter, and correspondence with the client)
• Proactively assist Manager/ Senior Manager in searching issues related to professional and technical knowledge through Vietnam accounting/auditing system, current financial management regulations
