• Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in area of SAP Projects System (PS) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
• Good configuration knowledge of PS structures- WBS, standard structures, user status profiles and Master Data.
• PPM: Portfolio definition, buckets, Initiatives Management, Financial and Capacity Planning, Resource Planning and SAP PPM integration with SAP applications (PS, FI, HCM etc)
• Proficient in Cost & Revenue planning and budgeting.
• Proven knowledge on Results Analysis - Cost based and Revenue Based methodsResponsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications - External
• Period end processing, Project Settlement.
• Should have good understanding of relevant methodologies business processes and standards.
• Strong understanding of Integration between Project Systems with other modules

• Design and support development of custom enhancements in PS, PPM and integration area
• Good exposure on interaction with business users.

As a Procurement Operating Model Transformation Manager, you will lead and deliver end-to-end procurement transformation engagements for clients across industries. The role focuses on reviewing the client’s current state challenges, bringing in leading practices for discussions across people, processes, technology and data lenses. Enabling the leaders of procurement at client to define strategic transformation roadmaps, optimizing source-to-pay operations, deploying digital procurement solutions, and driving measurable business outcomes. As a trusted advisor, you’ll help clients elevate procurement’s impact—from cost savings to enterprise value creation.
1. Client Delivery & Project Leadership
· Design and execute procurement transformation programs spanning strategy, process, digital, and operating model dimensions.
· Lead cross-functional client teams to assess current maturity and define future-state procurement models.
· Leverage benchmarking data to evaluate maturity and drive strategic roadmap development
· Develop robust business cases and track value realization (cost savings, efficiency gains, supplier innovation).
· Manage engagement economics, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring high-quality outputs.
2. Procurement Operating Model and Process Design
· These projects could include, current state process review, organization analysis, spend analysis, buy channel review, digital procurement platform review, policy and master data review
· Shape client procurement strategies aligned with corporate priorities (e.g., ESG, resilience, digital).
· Define target operating models, governance frameworks, and performance measurement systems.
· Advise on organizational design, capability building, and role alignment to enable future-state operations.
· Reimagine source-to-pay processes for automation, analytics, and user-centric design.
· Integrate spend analytics, supplier intelligence, and category strategy tools to drive insight-led decisions.
· Drive stakeholder alignment across client business units, finance, IT, and procurement.
· Support in communication, training, and adoption strategies to ensure sustainable transformation.
· Coach client teams to build internal capability and embed new ways of working.
3. Business and Practice Development
· Support business development through proposal creation, client presentations, and industry insights.
· Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice capability building.
· Contribute to intellectual capital and go-to-market offerings on procurement transformation, digital, Agentic AI, ESG etc.
Travel Requirements:
· Travel is required for this role and could vary from 20-50%
Skills & Qualifications
· 7-8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain with a minimum of 4–5 years in consulting or transformation roles that include leading teams.
· Proven success leading procurement operating model redesign, technology enablement, or cost optimization programs.
· Strong project management, analytical, and client-facing communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders.
· Experience with digital procurement tools (Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, GEP, Jaggaer, Ivalua, etc.) and spend analytics.
· Exposure to AI, RPA, or advanced analytics in procurement.
· MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
· Professional certifications (CIPS, PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
