Description:

Your key responsibilities

• Manage multiple technical and advisory Tax projects, focused on Indirect Tax, to a wide range of clients;
• Team management;
• Identify and sell opportunities for indirect tax advisory, refund and recovery services;
• Manage timings and expectations with customers;
• Deliver quality deliverables/solutions using general Indirect Tax knowledge and contribute to the profitable growth by ensuring client engagements are executed in an efficient manner;
• Advise local and multinational companies in order to align their tax compliance position with their business strategy in order to maintain competitive advantage and provide shareholder value;
• Manage and participate in recovery audits while maintaining effective client relationships;
• Develop and deliver responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations;
• Lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans and make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas;
• Maintain long-term collaborative and profitable relationships with our clients;
• Stay abreast of current tax, legal and business trends relevant to the client's business;
• Contribute to the team’s good productivity and motivation with good communication and cooperation to guarantee the best result;
• Develop and maintain long-term and trust client relationships and networks.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Academic Degree in Tax, Economics, Finance or similar financial/legal fields of studies;
• At least 5 years of professional experience working with indirect taxes;
• Background in consulting environment, mainly in Big4 or Second Tier companies, is valued;
• Experience in team management;
• Ability to develop new business opportunities;
• Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments;
• Full English proficiency.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Relevant professional experience, including previous work with a Big 4, global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy or performed an in-house role in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)
  • 3-4 years of prior experience
  • Personal success in current job with experience in one or more of our capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant post-graduate qualification

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Project management experience with global or multi-national payroll projects.
  • Global payroll consulting experience, knowledge of technology vendors, such as ADP, PeopleSoft/Oracle, SAP, Workday, and other technology solutions including reports, strategies, assessments, vendor selections, designing processes considering risk and implementing solutions worldwide
  • Large-scale project management experience
  • Strong numbers acumen, including analytical abilities and knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $99,600 to $164,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $119,600 to $186,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
