De uitdaging - What future are you building towards?
Als Manager Business Tax Advisory speel je een cruciale rol in het ondersteunen van onze klanten. De fiscale ontwikkelingen in Nederland en daarbuiten volgen zich snel op. Het gidsen van onze klanten door dit landschap is een belangrijk onderdeel van jouw rol. Maar je gaat verder dan de dagelijkse fiscale aspecten en werkt samen met het team aan strategische besluitvorming die essentieel is voor de bedrijfsvoering van onze klanten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het in kaart brengen van de behoeften van alle stakeholders en het anticiperen op dynamische ontwikkelingen, zowel binnen als buiten de onderneming. Ook de technologische ontwikkelingen staan niet stil en binnen EY kun je onderdeel zijn van de transitie naar een slimmere manier van werken, door onder andere te leren over de toegevoegde waarde van de inzet van (GEN)-AI.
Ons team - Do great minds always think alike?
Het BTA-team in Arnhem wordt geleid door: Niels van den Broek. Het team bestaat uit ongeveer 40 collega’s met een brede fiscale achtergrond en klantportfolio: familiebedrijven (vastgoed en agri & food), multinationals en maatschappelijke bedrijven. Wij houden van een uitdaging: complexe inhoudelijke vraagstukken ontrafelen en tegelijkertijd het vinden van de juiste procesinrichting of technologische oplossing voor de klant. Naast je eigen ontwikkeling als manager, help je senior consultant en jongere collega’s in het team te groeien in hun rol. In de eerste drie jaar van hun carrière, ontwikkelen consultants in de BTA- praktijk zich breed, waarna zij zich meer gaan specialiseren. In jouw rol als manager bouw je een eigen portefuille op waarbij je het eerste aanspreekpunt wordt voor je klant.
Over het kantoor
Ons kantoor in Arnhem oogt van buiten een tikkeltje klassiek maar als je binnenstapt kom je in een super moderne omgeving terecht. Er is een "Hub" waar collega's samenkomen om te lunchen, met elkaar bij te praten maar ook is dit een inspirerende plek om te vergaderen. Door de tafeltennistafel, PlayStation en de voetbaltafel hangt er in dit kantoor een informele sfeer waarbij je makkelijk even wat afleiding kan zoeken tijdens werk. Een kleinschalig EY-kantoor op de 2e etage met open werkplekken zorgt ervoor dat collega's hier graag werken.
Wat je gaat doen: How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- Analyseren van een fiscale vraagstukken binnen familiebedrijven, multionational en maatschappelijke bedrijven, het vinden van tailor – made oplossingen en daarover een advies uitbrengen aan de klant
- Proactief benutten van fiscale kansen voor je klant en hen tegelijkertijd ook wijzen op mogelijke fiscale risico’s
- Voeren van fiscaal inhoudelijke discussies met klanten en belastingdiensten, in woord en geschrift
- Bouwen en onderhouden van relaties met klanten, targets en collega’s binnen de relevante EY- netwerken
- Leiden, ontwikkelen en inspireren van een team van toegewijde belastingprofessionals
- Samenwerken, verbinden en mede-opleiden van werkstudenten, consultants en senior consultants
- Deelnemen aan de vaktechnische overleggen in het team en eventuele landelijke kennisgroepen
- Samenwerken met andere kantoren binnen en buiten Nederland om de klant optimaal te kunnen bedienen
- Volgen van nationale en internationale trainingen, soms op locatie, over fiscaliteit, ontwikkelingen in sectoren, inzet van technologie, sustainability & tax, etc.

Wat wij zoeken: Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- Afgeronde WO-opleiding in Fiscaal Recht of Fiscale Economie aangevuld met het lidmaatschap van de Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs (NOB)
- Minimaal 4 /5 jaar ervaring in een fiscale adviespraktijk
- Bewezen leiderschapskwaliteiten en de capaciteit om een team te motiveren en te begeleiden
- Duurzame relaties opbouwen met klanten en actief bijdragen aan de uitbreiding van onze business door het identificeren van nieuwe kansen
- Bewezen ervaring in het oplossen van complexe internationale vennootschapsbelastingvraagstukken, inclusief kennis van diverse aanhangige belastingmiddelen
- Gevoel voor humor, positief ingesteld en je hecht waarde aan een gezellige werkomgeving

Your key responsibilities
- Support our clients to review current business processes, perform target state analysis, define business requirements, as well as develop functional and technical specifications.
- Design and implement automated processes for regulatory reporting/calculations in the areas of Financial Risk Management and Asset & Liability Management (ALM), using technologies such as SQL, Pyhton, No -SQL, as well as reporting mechanisms and tools.
- Implementation of risk management solutions including configuration, customization, solution development and integration.
- Provide the configuration, customization and integration of reporting solutions/software, for the generation of regulatory reports/disclosures in various formats (excel, xbrl).
- Monitor changes provided by the regulators regarding reporting/disclosure requirements.
- Compose policy and procedures documentation.
- Produce user manuals and provide training to end users.
- Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Communicate, provide guidance, and establish professional and trust relationships with clients.

Your key responsibilities

- Experience in Custom visuals and Groups Creation
- Experience in Data Gateway for Data Refreshing, content Pack Library
- Writing DAX and advanced measured in Power BI
- Quickly understand a data management system from end to end
- To be an SME on Power BI and a sound contributor delivering, standardizing, and organizing data for business uses
- Responsible for effectively communicating with other team members and clients on project related information

Skills and attributes for success
- An overall experience of 4 + years of which 2 years of hands on work experience with Power BI, up to date on the latest version and product capabilities, familiarity with UI designing
- 1 – 2 years of hands on experience with SQL, with demonstrated ability to derive insights through efficient SQL queries
- Must possess good knowledge of SQL queries and scripts/language such as Python.
