Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence


Assist seniors in replying to queries raised by clients on corporate tax matters wherein issues may range from capital gains, tax payments, preparation of return of income, etc.
Undertaking technical research on income-tax provisions impacting the taxation of clients;
Preparing submissions in relation to assessment and appellate proceedings in the case of clients and support seniors in representation before the income-tax authorities;
Appearing before the income-tax authorities on routine matters concerning the clients
Support in handling administrative responsibilities for clients allocated to you such as engagement letters, internal QRM, filing of client papers, billing follow-up, etc.
Client responsibilities: Conduct the engagement in a professional manner and in accordance with client expectations and as defined by the terms and conditions of the contract
People responsibilities:
Exhibit positive attitude and demonstrate willingness to learn.

Acquire and demonstrate competence in technical knowledge, and compliance process by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to moderately complex situations.
Analyze and convert data into a tax product (advisory/compliance) and ensure accuracy and timeliness of the product.
Where applicable thoroughly check documents and make available for tax inspections in an appropriate manner.
Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work products.

  • Identifying, evaluating, and providing solutions to evaluate complex business and digital risks
  • Follow policies and procedures that support the successful design, implementation and execution of Digital Risk Management frameworks and controls
  • Facilitate process walkthrough discussions to document end-to-end IT processes and technical/functional requirements during digital transformations
  • Assess the application of legal and regulatory requirements to clients Digital Risk Management practices
  • Specialize in one of the Digital Risk Management domains (i.e., Process & Control, Resilience, Digital Risk)

Job requirements– Where do you start if you want to change the world?

  • You already reside in the Netherlands
  • Finished a Bachelor or Master study in the field of (Business) Information Management, Business IT & Management, Data Analytics, IT Risk Management, Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar
  • Three year or more of relevant experience in the field of IT Risk Management, IT Governance, Cloud, Internal Audit, Internal Control, Data Governance, Cybersecurity, Privacy.
  • Knowledge of IT Risk frameworks (ex. COSO, ISO27001, NIST) and knowledge of Risk Management frameworks related to applications, data, cloud, emerging technologies, and IT governance
  • Fluent in English and Dutch

As a wavespaceTM Facilitator, you will be a key resource for designing and facilitating wavespace sessions for our clients’ business transformation projects and act as a role model for scaling the wavespace approach within the firm.Reporting to the wavespace location/experience manager/leader, you will primarily:

  • Work closely with senior stakeholders (EY and clients) to understand their business transformation needs and work across our global network (e.g., cross-SL/sector etc.) to bring in the right people and address specific client challenges
  • Take end-to-end ownership (from scoping, designing, and facilitating to follow-up activities) for wavespace sessions, from conception through to completion while
  • Possess and demonstrate strong (agile) projectmanagement skills throughout the event lifecycle
  • Demonstrate strong facilitation skills in several innovation methodologies of which Design Thinking is core
  • Have a strong persuasiveness and act as a role model while guiding the client to understand their business challenge
  • Have a hands-on mentality and support the operations of the location as well as its strategic development. This includes stakeholder management but also taking care of the room set-up for room rents/sessions

Job requirements –Where do you start if you want to change the world?

  • At least 2 years of experience in designing and facilitating the delivery of innovation workshops (e.g., Design Thinking)
  • At least 2 years of experience translating complex issues into coherent problem statements and designing processes to enable organizations to resolve complex issues
  • At least 1 year of experience in planning and managing at least two complex projects across multiple locations (e.g., in Organizational Change Management), ideally in an agile way of working
  • At least 1 year of experience in supervising advisory/consulting professionals
  • Fluent in Dutch and English

Preparing submissions in relation to assessment and appellate proceedings in the case of clients and support seniors in representation before the income-tax authorities;
Appearing before the income-tax authorities on routine matters concerning the clients
