Senior Consultant - Accounting, Compliance and Reporting

You will review monthly, quarterly and annual reports and annual accounts or ad-hoc reports in LuxGAAP, IFRS and US GAAP, foreign to local GAAP conversion of the financial statements, the review and submission of BCL and CSSF reporting, corporate income tax returns and VAT returns.

You will train, review and guide junior accountants who work on the same portfolio as yourself, assess team members’ performances.

Your key responsibilities

You will be the primary contact for your clients, managing their expectations and building lasting relationships with them. You will be responsible for all communications with external / internal stakeholders related to your portfolio. You will also be responsible for all administrative duties related to your client portfolio (invoicing, quotations, daily queries etc…).

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • University Degree (minimumBachelor BAC+3 degree) in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of similar work experience
  • Relevant experience with Real Estate/Private Equity structures

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Familiarity with LuxGAAP and IFRS
  • Fluency in English, French and/or German would be considered as a real asset
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, Pivot table, formulas…)
  • Experience with accounting tools would be an asset (Exact online, Yardi, YOOZ, Navision, Silverfin…)

You will manage and develop relationships with portfolio companies highlighting Tax planning opportunities and will analyze potential acquisitions and make recommendations accordingly.
  • You will manage client service teams and contribute to people development.
