  • Equities (common shares, depositary receipts, mutual funds, etc.)
  • Fixed income (asset-backed securities, corporate and government bonds)
  • Financial derivatives

You will also help auditors provide information to fulfill regulatory requirements.

Skills and attributes for success

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, International Relations or a related field and 2 years of related experience working as an IT auditor or IT risk adviser for a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or within industry.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity focused on financial audit IT in public company audits.Must have 1 year of experience supervising audit professionals performing the IT portion of the audit (IT general controls, ERP, application knowledge, system implementation, audit knowledge, and similar).

We are currently seeking senior associate positions in the following areas:

Your key responsibilities

  • Perform IT audits for systems that generate financial statements that includes the effectiveness evaluation of IT General controls across IT environments, automated functions in ERP system system, data reports.
  • Support Executives in directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing works status, and managing performance in delivering IT audit assignments against established methodologies, frameworks and global best practices
  • Apply a thorough understanding of system functions, IT controls to support Managers in controls optimization assignments, in identify client or audit challenges, and in providing/ implementing/ assessing solutions.
  • Apply digital solutions and technology such as Alteryx, SQL, RPA and Python etc. to analyze data and identify abnormal criteria's in digital assurance engagements.


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT/MIS/Fintech/Accounting/Finance/Economics/Mathematics... with strong academic credentials
  • Intermediate knowledge of at least one of following areas ERP, core banking system, database management (Oracle, SQL)
  • Experience working in Technology and/or Data risk in a regulated industry or having worked in an applicable technology environment.
  • Able to work across a large and varied portfolio of work, facilitating discussion across a wide range of stakeholders, appropriately managing expectations and driving projects to completion.
  • Fluent in English, Articulate and effective oral and written communication.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Achieve or working toward following certification: CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA or ISO27001
  • Experience in business analysis (BA), system implementation is a plus
