  • Ability to understand and apply complex tax and industry concepts to specific client scenarios with aim to provide value and practical solutions
  • Strong leadership, client centricity, organizational, project management, digital and communication skills (both verbal and written). Preferably vast business acumen of professional services firm
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in business and tax technical writing
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and high-quality client service

Join our Audit team and you will help our clients meet their reporting requirements by providing an objective and independent examination of their financial statements, timely and constructive discussion with management on accounting and reporting matters, and a robust and clear perspective to audit committees.

When required, you'll personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on the size of the engagement.

You'll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships and confirm that work delivered to clients is of a high quality. As part of this, you'll anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues, as appropriate. As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you'll utilize advanced knowledge of firm policies, systems, and processes to perform complex accounting activities and mentor less experienced staff. You'll be expected to analyze transactions and compile complex account reconciliations with a high degree of independence and autonomy. You'll play a key role as a subject-matter resource to identify risks and improve operational efficiencies with the opportunity to gain recognition as a valuable Finance team member.

Your key responsibilities

  • Preparation of EY’s annual budget, forecast of the budget within the financial year
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc) taking into account EY’s goals and financial standing
  • Performing reporting procedures in accordance with internal control requirements and international financial reporting standards
  • Analyze Management accounts and prepare regular Budget vs Actual reconciliations. As per reconciliation results – prepare an explanation of differences and control proper adjustments if needed by communicating with related departments.
  • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
  • Supervision of the financial policies, accounting procedures changes/ preparations

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in auditing or finance
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with big data
  • Familiarity with tax, labor, and civil codes and current legislation
  • Experience is SAP is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team, attention to detail, and accountability
  • Fluency in English and Russian (both verbal and oral fluency is mandatory)
  • Candidates with ACCA F3 and F7 papers are preferred.
