Technical Excellence

  • The Director – Engineering will lead end-to-end engineering design, development, and delivery across EY India’s Client Technology portfolio. This leader will drive the execution of large-scale, enterprise-grade SaaS platforms and shared assets that power the firm’s digital transformation agenda. The role demands strong hands-on technical depth, architectural judgment, and the ability to scale multiple teams while ensuring performance, reliability, and innovation at every stage of the software lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Own the full engineering delivery lifecycle for one or more strategic platforms or products, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. Build and lead multiple high-performing engineering teams (developers, DevOps, QA, and data engineers) with a focus on excellence, accountability, and speed. Define engineering standards, best practices, and governance processes that ensure quality, maintainability, and secure-by-design delivery. Partner with Product and Architecture teams to translate product vision and architectural blueprints into robust technical execution. Champion cloud-native, modular, and microservices-based architectures, driving standardization across platforms. Embed AI-first engineering practices, including AI-assisted coding, testing, and developer copilots, to enhance productivity and code quality. Establish frameworks for observability, monitoring, and performance optimization across all environments. Drive DevSecOps maturity through automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). Partner closely with the CTO office on engineering governance, release discipline, and technical talent development. Mentor and scale engineering talent, fostering a builder’s mindset and strong technical craftsmanship culture. Ensure cross-functional collaboration and transparent communication with stakeholders across product, design, and business. Key Requirements: 15–20 years of experience in software engineering and platform delivery, with at least 5–7 years in senior engineering leadership roles. Proven experience building and scaling SaaS-grade or enterprise cloud platforms at scale. Deep understanding of modern software architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and data integration patterns. Demonstrated expertise in engineering management, process automation, and agile product delivery. Strong hands-on familiarity with modern technology stacks (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, React, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS). Exposure to AI/ML pipelines, intelligent automation, and agentic systems is a plus. Excellent stakeholder management skills and a track record of leading cross-functional delivery in complex, matrixed organizations. Strong communication, decision-making, and coaching skills with the ability to scale and mentor diverse engineering teams.   • +2 years of experience in consulting roles or in other in-house HR roles, people analytics, organizational development
  • A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration would be considered an advantage
  • Strong interest in people consulting practices, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong results-orientation with a proactive attitude for support and involvement
  • Collaborative with a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering results
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Strong client servicing orientation
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, both written and verbal (essential requirement)

Supplier Relationship Analyst

Support the Supplier Relationship Manager in managing the assigned IT strategic managed services contract(s) to provide transparency on vendor performance and contract compliance by ensuring the appropriate controls and processes are in place to reduce risk, improve vendor performance, optimize contract value, and ensure partnership efficiency.

Your key responsibilities

Team:

  1. Report to, and be accountable to, the Vendor Management Lead
  2. Collaborate with peers and other teams maintain consistent vendor management practices across SRM.
  3. Provide back-up support for team members during their absence.

Pre-contract Execution Support:

  1. Leverage current contracts and market data to use as a benchmark (pricing, SLAs, etc.) against which supplier proposals can be compared and baseline contracts developed
  2. Support the RFI/RFP/contracting process with focus on performance standards and governance.

Contract Management:

  1. Support the configuration of internal CLM tool with all information and workflows required to manage the contract
  2. Track supplier compliance to the contract, including contracted deliverables and obligations; following up with EY and Supplier as needed and escalating when necessary
  3. Support the identification of cost avoidance/reduction opportunities

Performance Management:

  1. Validate supplier provided performance and SLA/KPI reports and identify points of difference between those reports and EY generated view and facilitate discrepancy resolution, escalating when necessary; identify performance trends; oversee go-to-green plans and tracking
  2. Report on Supplier achievement of performance obligations and SLAs/KPIs and support the provision of analysis and insights
  3. Recommend SLA/KPI methodology updates and improvements
  4. Identify, confirm, track and ensure application of service credits and earn-backs
  5. Support the development of, and distribute, scorecards and metrics (e.g. spend, performance, customer satisfaction, compliance, etc.)
  6. Support the development of, and distribute, performance dashboards that include key scorecards and metrics

Relationship Management:

  1. Develop and run a management plan for assigned managed services agreement
  2. Identify and report pain points, improvement opportunities and relationship status of strategic vendors through interviews, workshops and performance
  3. Establish and manage governance for assigned vendor contracts and relationships
  4. Identify and manage stakeholders
  5. Develop regular stakeholder reporting and produce and provide strategic vendor reports to key stakeholders

Financial Management:

  1. Support the establishment of contractual financial obligations and calculations in internal CLM tool
  2. Support verification of invoice accuracy
  3. Support the identification of cost avoidance/reduction/optimization opportunities and proposal of recommendations
  4. Track and manage Supplier discounts, rebates, volume discounts, Innovation Fund utilization
  5. Track and report benefits and value realization metrics
  6. Support the identification of further benefit and value optimization opportunities

Technical Excellence


Perform direct tax diligence (this involves scrutinizing past tax issues, tax records, compliance, assessment litigation etc. of the target) and capture the facts and analysis in a diligence report
Research and analysis of transaction tax related laws (such as domestic and international tax, corporate laws, SEBI, FEMA, Competition Act, stamp duty laws etc.) on inbound and outbound deals, corporate reorganizations, securities market aspects, etc.
Assistance in research and analysis of structuring transactions both external/ 3rd party deal or internal reorganisation
Research on tax positions, and apply them to specific client needs
Prepare deliverables capturing implications arrived on the basis of above research, in word, PowerPoint, excel or email form as required
Be updated on latest developments around tax and regulatory practice
Maintain and keep upto date records of internal documents / working papers


Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

Qualified chartered accountant

Prior experience in direct tax or transaction tax during internship or post qualification is preferred
