Core Data Governance Responsibilities

• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and custodians to ensure data accountability and compliance.

• Onboard new datasets into the catalog, tagging them with appropriate business and technical metadata.
• Promote catalog adoption by training users and promoting self-service data discovery.
• Ensure catalog entries are linked to data quality scores, lineage, and stewardship contacts.
• Periodically audit the catalog for outdated, redundant, or incomplete entries and coordinate updates.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, or data management roles.
• Experience working with enterprise data catalogs (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Microsoft Purview).

Technical And Domain Skills

• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data lifecycle management, and metadata standards.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience implementing multichannel self-service/IVR and Omni-Channel Orchestration Routing on Genesys Cloud CX.
• Genesys Cloud CX certified professional in one or more solution areas (e.g., Inbound, Outbound, Multi-channel, Integration).
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, VXML, and related web technologies, including asynchronous programming, AJAX, and API integrations.
• Thorough understanding of Genesys Architect Flows, Data Actions, OAuth, and Integrations objects.
• Experience with Genesys Agent Assist.
• Knowledge of speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies.
