Senior Advisor / Manager - International Tax and Transaction Services
The pace of change in the international tax landscape in recent years has led to an increased demand for services and support from our clients. With our business expanding accordingly, we are looking for people, who can assist clients on a wide range of Cypriot and international tax matters. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects which are focused on helping clients to develop and execute their international tax strategy, including:
• Managing the risk arising from global tax law change resulting from Global/European developments such as Pillar II Global Minimum Tax
• M&A transactions – pre-transaction reorganisations and post-transaction integration
• IP realignment/optimization transactions
• Corporate restructuring
• Tax efficient financing and treasury management
• Legal structure rationalisation

Key responsibilities
The Executive Assistant will provide secretarial support to Partners, Directors & the Team. The successful incumbent must be able to work independently, under tight deadlines and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Other than that, the responsibilities include:
Completing a broad variety of executive support tasks including managing calendar appointments, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, schedules, and agendas and compiling documents for travel-related meetings
Handling calls, processing accounts, handling of correspondence, expenses and leave verification and office coordination
Booking of meeting rooms, coordinating the team's meetings and events
Ensure smooth and efficient running of the department in all administrative matters
Responsible for the timely and accurate issuance of invoices, follow-up on payment procedures, and maintaining financial documentation
Providing assistance in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and client onboarding process, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth client transitions
Overseeing the smooth functioning of the workplace environment, including space organization, resource allocation, and coordination to optimize the floor operational setup.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
Fluent in Greek and English Language
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other relevant software
Ability to anticipate needs and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Conducting market research to support the development of market reports, feasibility studies, investment memorandums, valuation exercises, and strategy studies, as well as preparing and delivering client presentations and reports.

To qualify for the role you must have:
University degree in the field of Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
3-6 years of experience in a similar role;
Strong understanding of both real estate and corporate finance.
Ability to synthesize client information and understand key business drivers;
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Effective written and verbal communication;
Fluency in English.
Ideally, you will also have:
Qualification or in an advanced process of becoming qualified ACA, ACCA, CFA, RICS;
Registered ETEK member
Experience in a similar role
