Your role as a Senior Tax Staff will give you the opportunity to combine corporate tax work with structured and virtual learning. You will have the opportunity to combine tax engagements with structured learning. You’ll get experience in tax compliance, tax accrual review, calculating income tax provision and tax planning. The RM Senior provides functional support to the Sub-Service Line (SSL) RM Lead. This role will provide coverage and support to our
GCR Tax Group.
The Resource Management (RM) Senior is a member of the Tax Canada Resource Management team, contributing to the goals of maximum deployment of our practitioners and comprehensive project staffing for delivery of our engagements. The Senior Associate will develop and facilitate timely resource deployment solutions for their local client base; develop expertise and knowledge of professional staff skill sets and project requirements; analyse utilization data and deployment information and participate in developing and facilitating resource deployment strategies.
Your key responsibilitiesAs an RM Senior, you will be responsible for the deployment; development; and capacity management of the client-serving professionals of your local group. You will support the Resource Management strategy to effectively deploy Tax client-serving professionals and provide them with meaningful career experiences. Your key responsibilities
As a Senior within Decision Modelling, you will join a collaborative team where our experienced leaders will coach and mentor your growth as a modeler, analyst and rounded commercial advisor. You will likely spend your day-to-day designing, building and testing integrated financial models for transaction decision-related projects or even for forecasting purposes for our clients. You’ll need a strong knowledge of Excel and how it can be applied to corporate finance and be flexible and adaptable when it comes to different projects. Reviewing financial models is key too and you will be part of teams that provide preliminary conclusions regarding the logical integrity of our clients’ models. Knowledge of analytical tools and techniques would also be of benefit in the role, such as data visualization software.
