Your key responsibilities:

• Review business relationship evaluation form and ensure it meets EY requirements;
• Investigate business relationships within EY internal databases and internet for further analysis and evaluation;
• Coordinate with local managers and/or partners regarding business relationships on pending questions;
• Assist Risk Management /Independence specialists in various projects and events;
• Operate within EY internal systems;

Purpose of the role:

As aTax Consultantwithin our Tax team, you will make a contribution to tax engagements and internal projects with focus on Business Tax Advisoryand Compliance.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in different type of tax engagements

• Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, working in preparing and reviewing different tax products, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress

• Participate in researching tax, preparing memorandums, helping clients with responses to local or international authorities, and assist clients in improving their tax function

• Assist in preparing reports, schedules and tax forms that will be delivered to clients and other parties

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

• Build strong internal relationships

What we expect from you is:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics / International Economic Relations

• At least 1-2 years of experience on a similar position

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English language (another language is a plus)

• Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential)

• Very good analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, positive attitude
