FAAS addresses the CFO’s agenda and provides CFOs, controllers, treasurers and audit committees with insight and services to support compliance with evolving financial requirements and help provide transparency and trust in reporting to support better decision-making. We also help to support finance functions with robust financial data analytics and innovation through our tools.

Your key responsibilities

Within FAAS, you'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary and high-performing team of problem solvers with extensive experience helping financial services organisations solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution in one or more of the following areas:

  • Research and develop solutions to complex technical accounting and/or regulatory issues.
  • Keep up to date with industry, regulatory and accounting change to proactively develop and present solutions to our clients and potential clients.
  • Work with our client’s financial and regulatory reporting teams to help deliver insights from financial information and to improve reporting processes.
  • Lead the delivery of technical support on ad-hoc accounting and regulatory queries from clients and teams in other service lines and across EMEIA.
  • Assist clients with the implementation of new and revised accounting standards, GAAP conversions and regulatory change.
  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of engagements including those involving large scale financial and accounting change or complex transactions in in large Finance functions.
  • Lead junior team members effectively, providing support and guidance whilst acting as the key point of contact with senior leaders.
  • Leverage technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery; and
  • Build strong internal relationships within Assurance and across the other service lines we work with and support.

Skills, experience & qualifications needed:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major (including Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance);
  • ACA or ACCA certification is desired but not a pre-requisite.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm, and/or industry experience within banking, aircraft leasing, wealth and asset management or insurance; and
  • Excellent project management skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Como um Assessor(a) Tributário em Preços de Transferência você será parte da área de Tax atuando com foco em Preços de Transferência e apoiando na definição de preços dos produtos produzidos no exterior e vendidos no Brasil. Prestará assessoria tributária para atendimento às regras de preços de transferência realizando revisão, documentação, gerenciamento e defesa das políticas de TP, além da preparação de cálculos e documentos pertinentes para o cumprimento de obrigações principais e acessórias.

Você assumirá as seguintes responsabilidades:

  • Entender as tendências do mercado dentro da economia brasileira;
  • Realizar análises de preços de transferência sob a ótica das diretrizes da OCDE;
  • Preparar documentação de preços de transferência envolvendo diversas jurisdições ( CbCR, Master File, Local File e Benchmark);
  • Participar do desenvolvimento de políticas de preços de transferência para empresas multinacionais brasileiras e internacionais;
  • Participar de projetos de auditoria para realizar revisões sob a ótica de preços de transferência;
  • Desenvolver análises críticas sobre análises de preços de transferência;
  • Auxiliar as equipes de auditoria na revisão dos cálculos e identificação de riscos e exposições.

Requisitos e habilidades que buscamos:

  • Graduação em economia, contabilidade ou área correlatas;
  • Conhecimento em rotinas contábeis;
  • Conhecimento em impostos diretos (IRPJ, CSLL, ECF e ECD);
  • Conhecimento em preços de transferência ou nas regras da OCDE serão considerados como diferenciais;
  • Inglês ou espanhol serão considerados como diferenciais.

For this role, it is expected that you will:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, translating regulatory complex requirements and business needs into actionable strategies, policies, methodologies and processes
  • Design comprehensive risk management frameworks across the spectrum of financial and non-financial risk types such as credit, market, liquidity and operational risks

  • Support innovative use cases which leverage on modern Artificial Intelligence algorithms to solve business problems. Ensure the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence by applying the principles of responsible AI in existing or new AI models.
  • Understand and co-shape the latest banking trends, developing innovative risk management solutions.
  • Engage stakeholders through compelling presentations and discussions, fostering a collaborative environment for idea exchange and consensus building

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Excellent academic background, including a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, or other related field. Ph.D. and professional qualifications (e.g. PRM, CFA etc.) will be considered an asset
  • Skills in quantitative methods of finance, econometrics and/or statistics
  • Knowledge and/or prior experience in topics such as:
    • Banking products and services and/or investment products and the key risks associated with these
    • Risk management practices across major risk types such as Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk
    • Risk quantification methods for market risk (e.g. Value-at-Risk, Expected Shortfall) credit risk (e.g. PD, LGD and EAD)
    • Sustainable finance, including the incorporation of ESG factors into key risk management policies, processes, methodologies, quantitative models and tools
    • Risk-based business planning and performance measurement
    • Financial analysis, key performance indicators, and financial accounting
    • Regulatory requirements in the banking industry
    • Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud and other topics related to financial crime
    • Business analysis and functional specifications
    • Quantitative & other programming, (e.g. R, Python, SAS, SPSS, SQL) and valuation platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters, FinCAD or SuperDerivatives)
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Greek and English
  • Ability/flexibility to travel and work abroad for international projects

Ideally, you’ll also have

In this role, you will connect Business product owners with Technology delivery teams using data to power

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,500 to $230,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $150,700 to $261,600. Qual será o seu papel nesse propósito?

Como uma pessoa sênior de tributos, você será parte de Tax atuando em vários projetos globais e locais na área de Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR), ajudando grandes empresas a administrar e reduzir os riscos de suas operações, e assumindo as seguintes responsabilidades:

  • Orientar a equipe na gestão de riscos e oportunidades que envolvam apuração de tributos diretos Imposto de Renda de Pessoas Jurídicas (IRPJ) e Contribuição Social sobre o Lucro Líquido (CSLL);
  • Auxiliar as equipes de auditoria na revisão dos cálculos e identificação de riscos / exposições;
  • Atuar na revisão e preparação da ECF (Escrituração Contábil Fiscal) e ECD (Escrituração Contábil Digital);
  • Desenvolver as pessoas, por meio da delegação efetiva de tarefas e fornecimento de orientação à equipe, fornecendo feedback e treinamento com relação ao desempenho;
  • Direcionar o trabalho de campo, gerenciar o desempenho da equipe e manter a liderança atualizada sobre os trabalhos, documentando as áreas de maior risco;
  • Desenvolver constantemente a sua compreensão das tendências e processos atuais do mercado e compartilhar o seu conhecimento para desenvolver a equipe;
  • Auxiliar as equipes de auditoria na revisão dos cálculos e identificação de riscos / exposições;
  • Realizar a revisão e preparação do imposto diferido e respectivas projeções de acordo com as normas ASC 740 e IAS 12, bem como Tax Provision e reconciliação da alíquota efetiva;
  • Atuar como especialista em várias equipes de atendimento ao cliente, participando de projetos na área de Business Tax Advisory;
  • Prestar consultoria na gestão de riscos e oportunidades que envolvam apuração de tributos diretos.

Por que você?

Se você possui os requisitos abaixo, essa oportunidade pode ser sua:

  • Experiência consistente em projetos que envolvam apuração de impostos diretos, desenvolvendo estratégias de planejamento tributário alinhadas às necessidades globais de cada cliente;
  • Profundo conhecimento em impostos diretos (IRPJ e CSLL – Lucro real e lucro resumindo) e na preparação/revisão de ECF e ECD;
  • Graduação em Administração, Direito ou Contabilidade.

Poderá ser um diferencial, caso você tenha os seguintes requisitos:

  • Excel - intermedirário/avançado;
  • Inglês – nível intermediário.

FAAS addresses the CFO’s agenda and provides CFOs, controllers, treasurers and audit committees with insight and services to support compliance with evolving financial requirements and help provide transparency and trust in reporting to support better decision-making. We also help to support finance functions with robust financial data analytics and innovation through our tools.

Your key responsibilities

Within FAAS, you'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary and high-performing team of problem solvers with extensive experience helping financial services organisations solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution in one or more of the following areas:

  • Research and develop solutions to complex technical accounting and/or regulatory issues.
  • Keep up to date with industry, regulatory and accounting change to proactively develop and present solutions to our clients and potential clients.
  • Work with our client’s financial and regulatory reporting teams to help deliver insights from financial information and to improve reporting processes.
  • Lead the delivery of technical support on ad-hoc accounting and regulatory queries from clients and teams in other service lines and across EMEIA.
  • Assist clients with the implementation of new and revised accounting standards, GAAP conversions and regulatory change.
  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of engagements including those involving large scale financial and accounting change or complex transactions in in large Finance functions.
  • Lead junior team members effectively, providing support and guidance whilst acting as the key point of contact with senior leaders.
  • Leverage technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery; and
  • Build strong internal relationships within Assurance and across the other service lines we work with and support.

Skills, experience & qualifications needed:

We’re interested in future leaders with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen. Our opportunities will allow you to apply your financial accounting, regulatory reporting or change expertise to a variety of projects whilst offering you excellent career and progression opportunities. You can expect plenty of autonomy in this role, so you’ll also need the ability to take initiative and seek out opportunities to improve our current processes and ways of working. To qualify for the role, you ideally will have:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major (including Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance);
  • ACA or ACCA certification is desired but not a pre-requisite.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm, and/or industry experience within banking, aircraft leasing, wealth and asset management or insurance; and
  • Excellent project management skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
