Your key responsibilities

As an Applications Systems Engineer – AI Developer Senior, you will work on developing and deploying AI-enabled solutions, working across multiple teams and industries to solve complex problems and improve audit efficiency and quality.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems management, accounting, finance or a related field

• Minimum of 4 years of the following experiences but will consider less years in experience for strong candidates

• End-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, planning design, development, testing, and deployment

• Enterprise integration design patterns, microservices design and development, and middleware platforms including integrations, or application programming interface (API)

• Azure cloud services and deployment strategies

• Implementing and optimizing data structures for efficient data storage and retrieval in applications

• Minimum of 2 years of software development experience in Python, and frontend technologies (preferably Angular or React)

• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary

• Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations

Ideally, you’ll also have

A combination of experience in at least 4 of any the following areas:

• Integrating AI/ML features into production applications.

• Translating business requirements into software design and managing the development lifecycle.

• Deploying applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Storage and Azure Functions.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement secure web applications.

• Designing and maintaining big-data solutions such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

• Frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, C++, C#, Java, TypeScript, Hive, R, or NoSQL.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI.

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Ever-increasing regulations require audit departments to gather, organize and analyses more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.GDS Assurance Digital provides solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the global Assurance service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.

Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications) A Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech/MCA & MBA) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field with adequate industry experience.

Technical skills requirements

• 2-3 Years development experience in Python
• Python data structures, ORM Libraries
• Must have experience in REST, Flask/Django, Building API and TPS
• SOLID Principal, OOPS
• GIT
• Building Desktop application using Python framework
• Good experience in hosting application in Azure Containers/Web apps and Azure functions
• Hands on with any of Structured (SQL, My SQL etc..,) and Unstructured DB (Mongo, NO SQL)

Nice to have skill

• Experience in Azure DevOps
• Jenkins, ArgoCD, Terraform, Redid, Dynamodb
• Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies

• Leverage experience in HRT to support client projects, in collaboration with other parts of GDS organization and other EY member firms

• 3 - 5+ years of experience in HR Transformation and HR consulting domain
• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing HR Transformation projects across 1 or more of the following areas: HR Tech implementation, process re-engineering, operating model redesign, HR SSC implementation, etc.
• Master’s degree in HR or similar full time MBA/EMBA
• Exposure to HR transformation programs enabled by technology
• Strong understanding of 1 or more HCM systems – Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, Successfactors, etc.

• Experience in consulting for global organizations, across industry in the areas of:
o HR operating model design and organisation design
 Design of role descriptions and role catalogue
 Design of RACI documentation
 Benchmarking and design of organisation structure
o Shared services advisory
 Design of shared services model and organisation structure
 Design of shared services documentation – Work instructions, test scripts, SOPs
 Transition to shared services environment – Knowledge transfer, Training, Testing
o End to end HR processes (hire to retire)
 HR process mapping and optimisation experience
 In depth knowledge of end to end HR processes (hire to retire)
 Expert in process documentation using ARIS, Visio and other tools
• Working knowledge of Digital solutions such as RPA, AI, ML, etc. and their application in HR processes
• Knowledge of Change management and enabling change as part of an HR transformation
• Knowledge of Project management and development of a business case
• Working knowledge and / or experience in HR analytics, Learning design and delivery and HR policy design
