Job description:

As part of the core-tax mobility team you would work on providing support with the Mexican tax compliance and related activities for the expatriates from various clients. You will be involved in the daily activities of the tax team that provide support to the expatriates through conference calls, emails, etc and you will work directly with the senior in charge of each client. You will receive robust training from EY in the Mexican tax technical areas before being assigned to the job. Additionally, you will receive training to acquire soft skills that would help you to handle several situations that can be presented to you on a daily basis. High quality, good tax-technical knowledge, efficiency, commitment, and good communication skills are the key success factors for this role. The role requires constant interacting with the clients/expatriates in Spanish and English language.

Specific activities - Staff:

• Analysis of tax questionnaires of assignees and information related to their personal income (dividends, shares, etc).
• Preparation of annual and monthly tax returns for tax residents and non-residents in Mexico.
• Preparation of fiscal equalization calculations and hypothetical taxes, in case the company requires it.
• Review of tax assessments / tax inquiries issued by the Mexican tax authority.
• Participation in weekly calls with the Seniors and Managers in charge of the accounts.
• Keep the Senior in charge of the team informed of the progress of their work.
• Participation in technical trainings with the external user (Mexico) and internally with the team in Argentina.
