Key Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the budget lifecycle, including vendor management, quarterly forecasts, identification of savings, and management of risks.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Infosec, Privacy, and Third-Party Risk Management teams to finalize agreements such as Purchase Agreements, License Agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), and renewals.

  • Assess software compliance and risk exposure during onboarding and periodically thereafter.

  • Professionally address and resolve vendor onboarding issues, payment discrepancies, and disputes.

  • Lead business contract discussions and vendor negotiations.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, evaluate potential projects, and prioritize budget spending to optimize return on investment (ROI).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, technology, finance, or related fields.

  • 5 years of experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, business operations, program management, or related roles.

  • Proven experience managing contracts in software asset management or technology sourcing.

  • Experience managing budgets and driving cost-reduction initiatives.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly with senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects involving technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in technology or related industries.

  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), ITSM tools, and project management platforms (ServiceNow, Monday.com, Ariba, etc.).

  • Critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset, consistently optimizing processes and systems.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must qualify for the Department of Defense SkillBridge program.

Seek out and lead execution of performance optimizations of our AI related assets to ensure efficient use. Scope includes Nvidia SuperPod, On-Prem Kubernetes, Azure, and GCP based clouds

  • Understand key performance metrics and scaling characteristics of LLM, non-LLM AI models

  • Understand key concepts and sizing metrics related to RAG, Vector Search, Grounding

  • Influence customer choice of AI models to improve ROI and cost efficiency

  • Design and build dashboards to support management of AI workloads and infrastructure. Be familiar with GPU relevant metrics and how they are used. Strong experience with grafana, prometheus, thanos and ELK stacks

  • Analyze historical data, trends, and growth patterns to develop accurate capacity models such as compute, network, storage, and platform optimization requirements.and forecasts

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather relevant information on business objectives, technology requirements, and upcoming projects

  • Evaluate and refine existing capacity engineering processes and methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency

  • Manage capacity for large federated Kubernetes environments on primarily private cloud but including some public cloud.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics or a related field and 2+ years of experience

  • 2 years of experience in capacity engineering, resource allocation, and forecasting in a technology-intensive environment
