Expoint is pleased to present the opportunity for an Accounting Manager Controllership Role at eBay in Austin, United States. eBay is one of the greatest e-commerce sites in the world, and this position provides an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to explore the technology industry.
As eBay's Accounting Manager Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounting and report processes for the company. This includes preparing financials and overseeing the company's compliance with Generally Accepted Accountings Principles (GAAP). You will also be tasked with developing and expanding accounting policies, determining compliance levels, and managing revenue and budgeting operations.
In addition, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial reports, reviewing journal entries, and cross-checking account balances. You will need to be organized, ethical, and detail-oriented while also staying up-to-date with changing accounting regulations and implementing new accounting techniques.
You will be a part of the eBay team and it is essential that you demonstrate leadership qualities to ensure successful completion and reporting of all financial responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and five to seven years of experience in a similar role at a public or private accounting firm.
To be successful in this role, you will also need excellent problem solving, communication, and analytical skills. You should have strong self-management abilities and the ability to think critically and work independently.
