As a Live Producer, you will be responsible for accomplishing and optimising live shopping events, ensuring seamless production, seller collaboration, and audience engagement. You will have operations and production experience, but also strong customer empathy, and communication skills. You will be required to work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and data science.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Support and lead all aspects of the end-to-end production of eBay Live shopping events, ensuring seamless execution and engaging viewer experiences

  • Support in creation of processes, playbooks, and cross functional shareouts regarding Live programming

  • Lead live video and audio production, including RTMP streaming operations involving OBS Studio, HDMI/SDI/ NDI camera operations, and the native eBay Live Platform, networking, and RTMP streaming setups

  • Collaborate with category managers, sellers, and hosts to curate compelling live shopping events aligned with eBay’s e-commerce goals

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics such as GMV, viewer engagement, returning buyers, and event saves to optimize event strategies

  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve the efficiency, scalability, and quality of eBay Live events

  • Work with marketing teams to develop pre-show promotions, push notifications, and event branding to improve reach and connection with the audience

What You Will Bring

  • 1+ years of experience in live video production, event management, or e-commerce content production

  • Strong understanding of live streaming technologies, including video switching, OBS Studio, RTMP setups, and NDI networking

We’re looking for a top-tier Product Manager (5+ years) to commandeer the User Experience for our Global Shipping Platform - an eCommerce engine within the eBay ecosystem that already processes 100s of millions of packages!

Develop and promote a user experience vision

  • Define an aggressive frontend vision rooted in user journey maps and market insights. Champion accessibility, internationalisation, and clear design to ensure every interaction delights.

Implement Rapid Prototyping & Validation

  • Partner with UX/UI to iterate wireframes, Figma flows, or lightweight HTML proofs. Facilitate design sprints and usability labs, and translate validated concepts into well-scoped stories and acceptance criteria.

Measure, Experiment & Iterate

  • Own success metrics (e.g., conversion lift, adoption, time-to-purchase), instrument events and build real-time dashboards. Run A/B tests with clear hypotheses, analyse results, and refine the product continuously.

Platform-First & Developer Experience

  • Build modular components and implement design-system governance for reuse. Collaborate with Engineering teams on CI/CD, feature flags to ensure rapid, safe rollouts.

Lead Cross-Functional Alignment & Storytelling

  • Authors executive level reports and make informed recommendations to key senior business partners that lead to action.
  • Builds strong relationships with a diverse set of cross-functional business partners to understand their challenges and priorities, define research roadmap, and drive actions through insight delivery.
  • Gathers diverse ideas across an org and aligns on a mutually agreed upon direction.​​
  • Monthly reporting on consumer metrics
What you will bring:
  • Approximately 6-8 years of related work experience in research and insights with a particular focus on consumer and/or retail.
  • Have led insights projects in UK and understand UK consumers.
  • Strong research and insights technical skills: Demonstrable experience designing, planning and managing primary and secondary, qualitative and quantitative research using advanced methodologies (e.g. Semiotics, Conjoint….) and the latest research techniques (eg agile, AI…)
  • A proven ability to distill actionable insights from complex data and explain findings in a compelling manner. Has the ability to guide the strategic direction of the market with actionable insights and deeply rooted consumer centricity.
  • Able to work on complex business issues and on projects that are related to critical business needs (e.g., insights to influence a strategic initiative). Has high level of business acumen. Understand company strategy and priorities and manages insights work with this in mind. ​
