As a Senior GSI Partner Manager, you will be a business leader, taking ownership, building and executing plans and capabilities. You will directly impact the future of our customers and help us Make Tomorrow Better Than Today, Start Now.

This position is in NY/NJ, TX or CA with US and global travel as required (15-25% travel requirement).

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain executive and operational-level relationships within assigned GSI accounts.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Define and execute joint GTM strategies with partners including demand generation, marketing campaigns, and sales plays aligned with key industry verticals.
  • Sales Enablement: Train and certify GSI partner teams on product positioning, solution selling, and technical integration of Couchbase.
  • Pipeline Development & Co-Selling: Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline. Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify joint opportunities and support co-selling motions.
  • Solution Innovation: Partner with GSIs to build reusable, repeatable solutions and industry offerings using Couchbase.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on key KPIs such as partner-led revenue, pipeline generation, certifications, and GTM activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Couchbase sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure strategic alignment and partner success.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience in partner management, business development, or alliances—preferably with GSIs.
  • Proven track record of building joint GTM strategies and driving partner-sourced revenue.
  • Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent execution and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in or with high-growth SaaS or database technology companies is a plus.

  • Partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and bookings
  • Growth in certifications and partner enablement
  • Execution of joint marketing or solution launches
  • Strength and breadth of partner relationship

Base Pay Range

$164,475 - $193,500 USD

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop & Execute Regional Marketing Strategies: Build and implement localized marketing plans that align with regional sales objectives, focusing on ABM and persona-based engagement.
  • Plan & Execute Events: Lead end-to-end execution of trade shows, conferences, executive networking events, partner programs, sales meetings, and customer engagements.
  • Drive Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Sales Ops to craft and launch 1:1 and 1:few ABM campaigns targeting strategic accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement: Align closely with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts support sales initiatives and broader corporate strategies.
  • Data-Driven Planning & Execution: Leverage data to inform event and campaign strategies. Manage logistics, lead tracking, and post-event analytics to optimize performance.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Forecast and manage budgets, select and negotiate with vendors, and track project metrics and ROI for all regional initiatives.
  • Ensure Consistency & Excellence: Maintain brand alignment across all initiatives, manage contractors/vendors, and oversee timely logistics for all marketing assets and shipments.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in field marketing, including event management and ABM execution
  • Proven success in driving measurable pipeline growth through strategic marketing programs
  • Strong project and time management skills with a results-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with Salesforce, Airtable, or PowerBI is a plus
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership abilities
  • Creative problem solver with a team-first attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Base Pay Range

$100,000 - $122,000 USD
