Responsibilities:
Partner with Senior Bankers to provide overall relationship management support for public sector clients
Lead the day to day sovereign advisory analysis and related activities mainly in the Latin America region, in addition to supporting the function globally when needed.
Responsible for staying abreast of market and industry trends, “best practices” and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
Prior experience can include any of the following : Rating Agencies in sovereign related analytics, working in the public sector in a financial analysis and planning role, Banking, Fixed Income Emerging Markets Debt (either research, sell/buy side), working for a multilateral agency or international financial institution (e.g. the IMF, World Bank, Central Bank).
Strong understanding of global macroeconomic and policy trends, geopolitics, economic development and public finance challenges in Emerging Markets and an understanding of sovereign and public sector agendas.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to employ quantitative macroeconomic modelling and research tools.
Strong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills.
Experience with large public sector and corporate clients, capital markets products.
Flexibility with work schedule (may work across different time zones).
Second language preferred, with relevance for the Latin American Region or French.
Bachelor level degree, with quantitative background and thorough understanding of Economics or Public Policy studies.

About the role
Core Banking Technology which is part of Citi Services Technology is seeking afor leading the target state architecture definition for Core Banking modernization in LATAM region. This is a key regulatory commitment for the franchise and will involve designing the target state solution across 20+ platforms front to back from Product Processors all the way to Finance and Regulatory Reporting for each of the markets. Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and discovery efforts for the in-scope LATAM markets, define the roadmap for moving from current state to the target state architecture and interim states influenced by migration strategy
Communicate the agreed solution architecture to senior stakeholders and collaborate with technology partners and domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedure
Interface with Services Architecture and other LOB architects, including representation in Design authority, Architecture workshops and Program Steering Committee
Collaborate with product teams across Payments, Loans, Liquidity, Trade, Markets, Operations and Finance to understand business drivers and provide thought leadership in solution design by decomposing requirements and collaboratively developing solutions that adhere to Services architecture principles and strategic blueprint.

Qualifications

Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, influencing and engagement skills across all levels in the organization and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical colleagues
Experience in designing hybrid architectures where applications reside both on-premise and public cloud including understanding of cloud provider services. Hands on experience with AWS services like EKS, Azure, AKS, GCP, GKE is a plus
Experience with large scale transformations while architecting and supporting frameworks for High Throughput and Real Time systems using microservices, domain driven design
Demonstrable expertise in the development of standards, architectural adoption and governance methods, design patterns and IT practices
API design/development experience including underlying technologies: REST, JSON, Swagger, YAML, SOAP
Experience in automating practical solutions for SDLC and Release management through CI and related tools including but not limited to: Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Artifactory, Sonar, Jira, Confluence, etc.
Experience with Oracle databases, integration/middleware technologies like TIBCO/FUSE, ETL tools like Talend
Knowledge of Core Banking platforms and business flows related to payments processing, liquidity etc. is a plus
