This product management role is part of the Global Liquidity and Cash Concentration (‘GLCC’) solutions area. The position entails responsibility for Cash Concentration, Notional Pooling and Real-Time Liquidity Product Management and Commercialization activities for the UK, Europe and MEA cluster encompassing product strategy and performance, product and platform delivery/ rollout, deal management, commercialization risk & control and re-platforming.

What you’ll do:

Product Strategy and Performance

  • Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap based on market developments & customer needs.
  • Provide inputs to investment strategy and prioritization across GLCC solutions in liaison with cluster teams.
  • Gather market intelligence and develop market sizing to identify the attractiveness of particular markets segments and product offerings. Define and analyse sector trends, opportunities, and issues.
  • Plan and execute pricing and expense management initiatives to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Drive management visibility of performance drivers and delivery to plan through regular updates and presentations.
  • Alignment with multiple stakeholder groups including Global/ Cluster Product, Operations, Technology, Sales, Banking, Legal and Risk teams to drive the product agenda for the relevant clusters.

Product & Platform Development/ Rollouts

  • Work with Global Product Development leads to support the rollout of new or enhanced products, features, and global platforms to the cluster, while ensuring that all necessary approval requirements and governance processes are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, and client-facing teams to plan and execute the phased migration of liquidity structures from legacy platforms to global platforms.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of digital capabilities and STP processes to improve client experience.

Commercialization

  • Drive client usage and commercial success of GLCC products, harnessing data/metrics and through alignment with LMS Solutioning, sales and banking teams.
  • Assist sales and relationship managers in identifying client needs and proposing solutions in line with business objectives.
  • Develop and update GLCC client collateral and internal collateral to support value articulation and commercialization efforts.
  • Ensure maintenance and updates to product content on internal and external channels.
  • Deliver trainings to client-facing teams on product positioning and usage.

Deal Management

  • Engage with and support LMS solutioning and client-facing teams on deals and client asks.
  • Ongoing support for deals including deal review, pricing approvals and exception handling.
  • Recommend and deliver process improvements in collaboration with onboarding, operations, technology, and other teams.

Risk and Control

  • Build and maintain a pristine risk and controls environment in collaboration with global, and cluster partners.
  • Ensure timely and comprehensive Product Approval Program review and Capability Grid updates.
  • Appropriate assessment of risks in reviewing and approving deals.
  • Ongoing monitoring of the product portfolio vis-à-vis established risk acceptance criteria.
  • Driving risk mitigation and remediation efforts in coordination with Legal, Risk, Sales, Banking, Operations, and other teams.
  • Proactive identification, ownership and management of issues and incidents.
  • Contribute towards preparation and support for of audits / regulatory reviews.

  • Significant level of expertise and demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline, preferably in Liquidity and Cash Management.
  • Expertise or knowledge of interest rates and currencies is useful.
  • Knowledge of Citi and TTS systems and processes is helpful.

What you'll do:

  • Assisting in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance, programs, policies and practices for ICRM.

  • Providing guidance on rules and regulations relating to product operational issues, as well as, provide transactional approvals and interpretation of internal compliance policies.

  • Assisting with regulatory inquiries and/or examinations. This may include coordination with regulators and other parties.

  • Collaborating with other internal areas including: Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, Finance, other Control Functions, and In-Business Risk to address compliance issues which may impact the supported product.

  • Supporting the product in performing timely compliance reviews of new products.

  • Assisting in the development and administration of Compliance training for the supported product.

  • Researching any new reform rules and rule changes and implementing policies, procedures or other controls necessary to comply with the rules.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we'll need from you:

  • Previous experience within a Markets Compliance team. Experience within a Spread Products (aka Credit) compliance team is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies

  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to both work collaboratively and independently; ability to navigate a complex organization

This product management role is part of the Global Liquidity and Cash Concentration (‘GLCC’) solutions area. The position entails responsibility for Cash Concentration, Notional Pooling and Real-Time Liquidity Product Management and Commercialization activities for the UK, Europe and MEA cluster encompassing product strategy and performance, product and platform delivery/ rollout, deal management, commercialization risk & control and re-platforming.

What you’ll do:

Product Strategy and Performance

  • Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap based on market developments & customer needs.
  • Provide inputs to investment strategy and prioritization across GLCC solutions in liaison with cluster teams.
  • Gather market intelligence and develop market sizing to identify the attractiveness of particular markets segments and product offerings. Define and analyse sector trends, opportunities, and issues.
  • Plan and execute pricing and expense management initiatives to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Drive management visibility of performance drivers and delivery to plan through regular updates and presentations.
  • Alignment with multiple stakeholder groups including Global/ Cluster Product, Operations, Technology, Sales, Banking, Legal and Risk teams to drive the product agenda for the relevant clusters.

Product & Platform Development/ Rollouts

  • Work with Global Product Development leads to support the rollout of new or enhanced products, features, and global platforms to the cluster, while ensuring that all necessary approval requirements and governance processes are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, and client-facing teams to plan and execute the phased migration of liquidity structures from legacy platforms to global platforms.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of digital capabilities and STP processes to improve client experience.

Commercialization

  • Drive client usage and commercial success of GLCC products, harnessing data/metrics and through alignment with LMS Solutioning, sales and banking teams.
  • Assist sales and relationship managers in identifying client needs and proposing solutions in line with business objectives.
  • Develop and update GLCC client collateral and internal collateral to support value articulation and commercialization efforts.
  • Ensure maintenance and updates to product content on internal and external channels.
  • Deliver trainings to client-facing teams on product positioning and usage.

Deal Management

  • Engage with and support LMS solutioning and client-facing teams on deals and client asks.
  • Ongoing support for deals including deal review, pricing approvals and exception handling.
  • Recommend and deliver process improvements in collaboration with onboarding, operations, technology, and other teams.

Risk and Control

  • Build and maintain a pristine risk and controls environment in collaboration with global, and cluster partners.
  • Ensure timely and comprehensive Product Approval Program review and Capability Grid updates.
  • Appropriate assessment of risks in reviewing and approving deals.
  • Ongoing monitoring of the product portfolio vis-à-vis established risk acceptance criteria.
  • Driving risk mitigation and remediation efforts in coordination with Legal, Risk, Sales, Banking, Operations, and other teams.
  • Proactive identification, ownership and management of issues and incidents.
  • Contribute towards preparation and support for of audits / regulatory reviews.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Significant level of expertise and demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline, preferably in Liquidity and Cash Management.
  • Expertise or knowledge of interest rates and currencies is useful.
  • Knowledge of Citi and TTS systems and processes is helpful.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to make complex judgments and to provide solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought.
