Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the work activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the funds activities in the derivatives team and offshore locations, for client and NAV deliverables
  • Process daily work in a timely and accurate manner as well as act as an escalation point for questions and research
  • Oversee all derivative fund accounting teams in offshore locations for our associated clients, holding the teams accountable to the level of service provided through regular governance calls and thematic analysis of escalations or exceptions
  • Review associate work and provide signoff for complex transactions or sensitive clients, to provide additional SME support
  • Assist in developing training materials and training employees, and act as escalation point for questions and research
  • Ensure procedures and controls are followed and the integrity of the data processing environment is maintained
  • Support and oversee overall fraud quality control both monetary and non-monetary
  • Assist manager in identifying need for and implementing procedural changes, assist in BAU administration of team, and act as backup for manager
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience with derivatives (OTC and ETD)
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or business-related area
  • Experience in fund administration, change management, and/or project management
  • Knowledge of financial operations
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Strong excel skills are a key requirement of the role

Eligibility

  • Apprentices who enroll should have their Aadhaar seeded with their personal mobile no. and personal email id. This is a mandate.

The Fund Accounting Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participating in a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the calculation of daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and the distribution of associated unit prices.Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager will be responsible for all Middle Office oversight. Client ownership is key with a requirement to meet with clients on an ongoing basis through the year on their service across many Middle Office functions. The role will also be involved in client onboarding and implementing internal change & efficiencies to support business growth

What you will do:

  • Ensure that all client deliveries are met to agreed service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure communication with clients, both internal and external, is effective.
  • Ensure that oversight controls and processes are effective and that these are reviewed on an ongoing basis with a focus on business risk
  • Ensure oversight of offshore teams is effective, and that feedback is given to the offshore team in the form of calls/issue logs to help keep accuracy levels high and quickly resolve issues.
  • Investigation and resolution of complex queries and client queries in a timely manner.
  • Develop strong, pro-active relationships with all internal and external customers.
  • Lead on projects and process improvements and the resultant training.
  • Working closely with other relevant operational peers to ensure that process risks are minimised.
  • Look for opportunities for efficiencies and drive new developments and enhancements forward for the team.
  • Deputise for Senior Manager at internal and external meetings.

What you will do:

  • Day-to-day leadership, management & support of Funds Operations Client Change Delivery area (multiple teams), ensuring e.g. managerial structure is setup in relevance with business goals, all required deliverables are fulfilled timely and in highest quality, and all aspects of employee’s lifecycle are performed in appropriate standard.
  • Coordination, execution and reporting of global Client Change Delivery programs of work
  • Continual review of Client Change processes with stakeholders to identify and execute tactical and strategic service and efficiency improvements, as first remit - implementation of global standard for Client Change process and practices.
  • Capacity management and dynamic prioritization of resources
  • Monitoring of expense base to deliver execution of financial plan and initiatives to meet expense targets;
  • Pro-active risk management and cooperation with necessary stakeholders in order to minimize operational & project risk and adherence to all Citi policies.

What we'll need from you

  • 10+ years of experience in program management on portfolio level, and/or significant client change programs, preferably within Fund Operations/Securities Services space
  • 10+ years of people management experience as manager of managers (or significant size project teams)
  • Track record of delivering efficiency within Change/Project organizations and org structures creation/design
  • Stakeholders management skills, ability to build long-term relationships, including exposure to clients
  • Continuous improvement and transformation-related skillset with proven track record of the same
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written), executive presence
