Your Impact

As a Networking Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal pre-sales technical role, working directly with key decision-makers and internal partners to showcase Cisco Networking products and solutions. You will help customers achieve their business outcomes by designing and configuring secure network architectures, leading demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) labs, and providing expert guidance on advanced observability, automation, and AI-driven capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to influence Cisco’s customer strategies and contribute to their digital transformation.

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive business and growth opportunities
  • Design and configure secure networking solutions (Routing, Switching, Wireless,
  • Automation) to meet specific customer requirements
  • Lead RFP responses, product demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concept labs
  • Maintain deep product and solution knowledge, including competitive positioning
  • Monitor market and industry trends to anticipate and address customer needs
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years demonstrated ability in sizing and designing Routing, Wireless, and Switching deployments across Cloud, On-Prem, and Hybrid environments
  • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP , BGP , OSPF, EIGRP , LISP) and network segmentation technologies (e.g., VRF, MPLS, ZeroTrust, SDA, 802.1x, SGT, Adaptive Policy)
  • Pre-sales technical experience supporting enterprise customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 35% as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable with audiences of all sizes
  • Familiarity with competitive networking products (e.g., HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet)
  • Cisco and non-Cisco certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCDE, DevNet, AWS, Google, Terraform)
  • Experience with API integration and network programmability
  • Strong critical thinking skills and customer-focused attitude, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
