Your Impact

You will join the Cisco TLC’s Screening Operations team supporting our transaction screening program. This team is responsible for trade regulations globally and across the business. We are looking for a curious, creative teammate. You will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of the team reviewing and conducting due-diligence reviews, specifically denied party, location and end-use/end-user screening for wide variety of sales, service and other transactions

Properly document and plan all projects prior to entering project build phase. Use of standard design templates and tools (Visio, ppt, MS Project). Produce clear documentation to guide users in the use of produced demo content.

Provide technical support to level 1 & 2 support engineers, Program Managers and others ensuring that demonstrations are in working order. Test and replicate issues on the support row as required. Log into remote sites, test and apply fixes as required. Make recommendations to on-site support staff to negate future demonstration disruptions. Track and log escalations effectively.

Lead training labs and presentations to internal and end customers showcasing the Security and/or Networking technologies. Provide the business advantages of said technology while educating the users towards the final sale. Continue the customer evolution from Learn, Experience, Validate, Decide. Other responsibilities, as assigned, including email management, meeting attendance, etc.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support or systems engineering role, with strong knowledge in two of the following Cisco architectures - Security, Data Center & Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Collaboration technologies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of key operating systems including Windows, Linux, VMware and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot automation program languages such as python, PowerShell, etc.
