Responsibilities:

• Review product requirements document and understand the customer use case.
• Work with senior architect to help in designing and drafting software functional specifications for a particular feature.
• Work with senior development engineers to develop the feature and participate in early unit test and integration test.
• Design Test Plan based on customer use cases.
• Participate in functional quality testing and end to end QA testing.
• Automate use cases using Pythons or Ruby.
• Participate in innovative Software test initiatives.
• Share your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and evangelizing engineering standard methodologies.
• Accountable for the stability of our product with a high customer focus.

Required skills:

• 2+ years of experience with BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Excellent Python or Ruby scripting/automation experience.
• Ability to write C and C++ professional production code.
• Have working experience in core network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP)
• Have effective interpersonal skills and a strong ability to collaborate with others.
• Are proactive and willing to learn new things and tackle new challenges.
• You possess the skills to multi-task in dynamic environments.
• Ability to work with customers, understand their networking infrastructure, debug and solve their network problems.

Bonus points:

• CCNA/CCNP/CWNA/CCIE certificate is a big plus.
• Cisco Wireless background specifically knowledge of 802.11 and Wi-Fi is desirable.
• Deep understanding of wireless protocols and network security fundamentals.
• Experience building cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g. web applications)
• Experience with development and test tools like GitHub, Yocto, OpenWRT, Gerrit, GIT, Spirent or Ixia or iPerf Traffic generation etc.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities will include:

• Strong Recruiting Business Partner to collaborate with and advise the sales business leaders on hiring strategies.
• Build (source new) and engage with our talent pipelines. Drive innovative resourcing solutions to attract the best talent.
• Advise hiring managers on talent market insights: talent availability, salary ranges and market trends, etc.
• Deliver exceptional customer service standards to both internal and external candidates
• Build and maintain talent pipelines within a line of business through targeted candidate relationship interactions
• Act as an SME on hiring an inclusive and diverse workforce.
• Keep up to date and in alignment with local hiring practices and laws
• Ensure candidate data privacy and work with an Applicant Tracking System to manage candidates.

Who You Are

• 8+ years of Talent Acquisition (Recruitment experience), within corporate recruiting environment with full life cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience in a senior recruitment role managing senior level roles, within Technology and/or Sales.
• Excellent business partnering skills and the ability to build relationships at senior levels.
• Executive level stakeholder management experience
• An individual with a drive to excel through execution whilst understanding communication and collaboration is key to building robust people relationships. Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Open to learning new technologies and approaches to continually “be better"
• Preferred experience: 1-2 years of team leadership experience

What you'll do

• for India sales talent acquisition teamand will need to build strong, consultative partnerships with hiring managers and internal partners while providing expertise around the recruitment process to allow his / her team to deliver recruitment solutions effectively.
• End-to-End responsibility ensuring thesales talent acquisitionteam conducts strategic planning, attraction, sourcing, selection, and conversion of candidates for both specific requisitions, building a diverse pipeline of highly skilled resources, effectively managing candidate relationships, and selling Cisco as an employer of choice - all to ensure the right talent is available when needed.
• Be a strategic business partner,subject matter expert,coach and advise hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Applying innovative strategies, market intelligence, assessment and selection to gain the best talent for the organization.
• Research and provide talent acquisition advice/recommendations based on talent trends supporting the development of next generation talent pipeline
• Drive deployment of recruitment programs/projects and deliver high quality work in a fast paced environment in a timely manner.
• Collect and analyze data for predictive analytics to come up with recruitment strategies, performance
• Lead a team of recruiters providing ongoing development and support
• Represent the region to the Global TA functional cohort.
• Headcount forecast and planning will be key in the role

Who you are

• 5+ years relevant recruitment experience with demonstrated experience leading a recruitment team.
• Experience of recruiting within thesalesfield acrossIndia & work in matrix organization across APJC
• You have demonstrable experience leading the full life cycle recruitment process: source, screen, assess, negotiate and close. Solid experience and background handling senior level and leadership hiring.
• Strong sales talent network within India
• Experience collaborating with key business leaders and senior cross-functional partners. Demonstrable experience working with key leadership partners to understand future plans and develop strategy to deliver on these plans. Experience translating data and analysis into strategic recruitment processes and recommendations and be recognized as trusted advisor in all recruitment matters on a regional capacity.
